Will the Soarin' ride still be there in November? I can't wait to ride it, but we have had to move the trip back to Thanksgiving. I believe the happiest celebration on earth will be concluded at that point, but will the special rides remain?

yes, it's not going anywhere. The rides may have been brought in for the hppiest celebration on earth, but they will remain there after it's over.

I just read what I wrote below, and it may seem sarcastic but it's not meant to be.

Soarin' isn't a carnival ride that can be put on a truck and hauled to the next fairgrounds. It's a huge attraction in a huge building. It's not going anywhere fast.

Sanka, glad to see it isn't going anywhere. Thanks!
CleveRocks - don't you just hate it when that happens ;) Glad you explained your post. We've all done that a time or two.

I was just worried that this ride would be going by the wayside - like COP and River Country. Didn't want to miss out on anything! :thumbsup2

It's a great ride. If you haven't experienced it yet you are in for a treat. It is the only "ride" that I have been on that people clap at the end of it. Have fun!!

It is a great ride and I'm looking forward to riding it in Florida. I've only been on the Soarin' in California so far and, while I know they're the same ride, I'm looking forward to being back at WDW.

P.S. Don't you just love Patrick Warburton as the host?

Gardendame, just as an aside: COP has been pretty much open for the past year or so...it was open in January and the CM's confirmed that it's open all of the time now.

and soarin' is beautiful...my 79 yr old mom's favorite ride...I can still hear her "Wow! WHEEEE!"

Just back from the world and Sorin is awesome! For anybody that is heading to the parks anytime soon dont forget to use your nose during the ride, the oranges are my favorite!

I'm sworn to secrecy on how I managed this, but I once rode on it with just one other person, who is a dear freind of mine. This was before the park opened, and it was so COOL. We sat in the middle of the front row, held hands and had a wonderful time.

I guess, it's not what you know it's who you know.

Cheers Larry.

I rode it first in California, and what an awesome ride. Thank goodness it is not going anywhere. If you can, ask to sit in the front row, it is worth it if you have to wait until the next ride to be right up front!

I feel awful for saying this but last year when we went to WDW, I made my family return to Epcot on our last day just because we did not get to ride it on our Epcot day. Now we are planning next years trip and DH and I both agreed that we could skip Soarin'. The kids want to do it again so some of our family is normal I guess, we just don't feel the need to do it again....

For those who never rode SOARIN'::::: I rode it in California- GREAT ride, but I guessed I breathed thru my mouth the entire time because when I got off, I heard people talking about the smells- so I rode it a second and third time and remembered to breath thru my nose- you can smell the pine trees in the forest, the sea breeze of the ocean, the orange groves of California-TRUELY AMAZING! I just wonder if its the same in Florida or if its Florida themed. Anyways, just remember to stop and take time to smell as you enjoy the ride. :moped:
