Soarin' for Singles

Hello Everyone ! I plan to be at Epcot Friday, 12/02, and Monday 12/05.
I am going to be solo. I have heard mixed reports that there is - or is not - a singles line. If the fast passes run out, and I get into a long line, HOW do I let the CM's know that I can go single? Will they ask that question near the end of the line, or will they wait until the line gets closer?
Will a CM go down the line to ask if there are any single riders ?

There is a singles line but they rarely use it. They probably won't until the crowds die down. Sometimes they pull them out of the regular line other times you will wait like everyone else.

There was a singles line when the ride first opened. It was the leftmost entrance. It didn't last very long, as it was found to be far easier to simply ask the line near the end for single riders.

Soarin should not need a singles line like test track. Test track needs it because they would be sending out too many cars with one or 2 empty seats creating a big hit on capacity. With Soarin having a capacity of about 100 people per show 1 or 2 empty seats will not make as much of a hit. I am also not sure I would want to be on a singles line for soarin since you would probably have a better chance of getting a seat at one of the far ends of the rows.

Soarin CA has a singles line and it works great. I have gotten the best seats by being in the singles line. I have also gotten great seats by being a single at WDW. Front row center many times as a single.

I think once the crowds die down they will start to use the singles line at WDW.

I agree. By being single, it's alot easier for them to accomodate special requests, such as sitting in the front or back.

I went on by myself while DH was with DS. It worked out perfect as when I said, "one" they put be in the next area and I was in the first row! I LOVED it!

When I was there in Sept., I asked about a singles line, and I was told there wasn't one.

I wish so much that there was a Single Riders Line in EPCOT's Soarin' but there isn't. I asked twice while I was there last week, as I was by myself the first 2 days of my trip. Both times, I was told no. I told them that there should be one. One CM told me that it was easier without it. Not really sure the explanation behind that one.

No one asked anyone in the line if they were a Single Rider on the 2 days that I visited.

Rode it in Disneyland and my friends and I always went Single Rider. Most days, the line out there was 30+ minutes and we usually waited 5 or less. Seemed to work great there - so why not EPCOT?

Went to EPCOT's EMH night during Illuminations, in the hopes of avoiding some crowds. Posted wait time was 45 minutes - waited closer to an hour. Even during EMH that is crazy!!

Went over on Thursday morning at 11:00 am - got a FP return time for 8:00 pm. Went over on Friday morning at 9:45 am - all FP's gone for the whole day!

If this is something that you want to do, I suggest you be there at park opening or be prepared to wait an hour or so. I even heard of people over the weekend waiting 45-60 minutes with a FP for Soarin'. It is a GREAT attraction, but be prepared to wait for it!
