Soap/Shampoo Dispensers @ Disney's All-Star Resort

Does anyone know why Disney doesn't remove the soap/shampoo dispensers at the All-Star Resort and provide bar soap and bottled shampoo like they do at Pop Century?Is it too expensive to remove them?Is the cost of the bar soap and bottled shampoo more than the replacement bags[YUCK!GROSS!]for the dispensers.There has to be a reason.I don't think many people,if anyone,like the dispensers.I HATE THOSE THINGS-DISNEY PLEASE REMOVE THEM!PRETTY PLEASE!

If you call housekeeping, they will bring you bar soap and bottled shampoo.

Those dispensers are so chintzy -- they really should get rid of them.

Disney briefly tried the dispensers in moderates, too. The first time we stayed at POR, our room had one. We did request real soap and shampoo, though. When we stayed at POR again less than a year later, there was no dispenser

I didn't realize you could request soap and shampoo at All Stars. I guessed there was probably none available since all the rooms have the dreaded dispenser. Good information!

I left a note with the gratuity on the first morning of my stay at the All-Star Sports Resort requesting bottled shampoo from Housekeeping.When I came back to my room,the gratuity and note were gone,but no shampoo had been left.LOL.I went to Guest Services and they checked their supplies and did not have any shampoo.The CM seemed somewhat puzzled at my request.It was really no big deal.I just went to Sport Goofy and purchased a bottle of shampoo for my stay.I will try calling Housekeeping directly on my next trip.The Mickey Mouse shampoo adds to the atmosphere of a trip IMHO.
