Soap Opera Weekend/ Crowds??

We will be in Disney for the Soap Opera Weekend ( Nov 13-14 ). How does that effect the crowds at MGM? Should I try to avoid MGM that weekend? Also we are there at the tail end of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, should we try to avoid Epcot durung the closing of the Festival. We can tour both Epcot and MGM before the weekend, so we will not be missing anything by staying away. Thanks for any help.

There are no huge special events at Epcot to mark the closing of the festival. Just go as you normally would.

For Super Soap Weekend, though, I'd definitely avoid the Studios! Unlike Star Wars Weekends -- where the crowds tend to congregate in the Star Tours area -- the Super Soap crowds seem to be everywhere! While they ARE concentrated at the areas where the stars actually are, the whole park seems much more crowded, IMO.

The year we were there for te Soap Opera weekend, it was very crowded at MGM. That year it hit on Veterans Day Weekend and Jersey Week which added to the crowds.
