soap and shampoo?

Do you ask for extra soap and shampoo and lotion (i love that) to take home? Not because of quality , just cause..

yep and every now and then we'll get one out and use it. It always reminds us of the cruise.

We take home whatever is left over - opened & unopened. We put out the unopened ones into a dish when guests come to stay. Great for them to have a variety & great for a 'conversation piece'. I even gave my mom a few for her guest bathroom.

Also, the opened ones we give to the kids when they go to camp or bring ourselves on small trips.

At home we've got a whole box of shampoo and conditioner from hotels we've stayed at. But none from Disney. That Mickey shampoo just isn't good enough to "steal," in our opinion.

Is that the same stuff they give you on the cruise? If it is, I'm bringing some of my home supply with me.

Do they leave a new supply every day? What if you haven't used the ones from the day before?

If you HAVE used some, will they throw those away for you? I'd hate that to happen!

I like to keep my Disney soaps in my Disney themed bathroom...

on the cruise they brought us new shampoo and lotion everyday, if i didnt use it or if it was 1/2 used i always put it away in the cubbord... so I guess the answer is if there is not any in the bathroom then they bring you more... we took home at least 2 of everything.

and I am sure they would be happy to bring you more if you ask...

the kids kept some of the candy they put on your pillows and ate it at home...

we bring our own every day we pack away all they gave us . we have left notes for house keeping to leave extra they always do . of course the extra tips for great service is amust for us. they always leave more in the evening for turn down service too, as there is none left out.

I absolutely loved the lotion on the Magic. I asked our room steward if they sold it in the gift shop. He just smiled, motioned me out to his cart in the hall and gave me a hand full to take home! What a great guy!
