Soap And Shampoo At FW Cabins

Does anyone know what kind of soap and shampoo will be waiting for us in our cabin? Is it the soap/shampoo dispensers like at the All Stars or will there be Mickey Mouse bars of soap and bottles of shampoo? I have a few of those left over from a previous trip and would bring them along for the kids (ok, me!) if they aren't already going to be there.

In the cabins there are small bottles of shampoo and bars of Mickey soap! Our mousekeeping left a ton of extras on day.(no animal towels, though)

I have a big shoe box full of Mickey soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, etc from vacations as far back as 1993 - why am I saving them?

Oh, thats so funny momxx5!!! I also have this strange compulsion to hoard the little shampoos and soaps and my question also is, why? why?

ok, completely off topic - well sorta

I used to hoard those little bars of soap too. Then I discovered that they make a HUGE splash at our local homeless shelter for families. The kids there think they are really special. So, if you ever decide to part with your treasured box of soap (and I understand that treasure stuff - I only started to give mine away when we started going to Disney every year!! LOL), there's a good place for it.

Thanks for the quick responses! I, too, tend to hoard the soaps and shampoos. That's a great idea about the shelters. I can start giving mine away and that will give me an excuse to return to WDW!

This article on one family's efforts to cheer children in a hospital by giving them gift packs containing Disney soaps and trinkets may encourage you. They welcome donations of WDW soaps and shampoos.

Some people, like the person who posted above about the homeless shelter, do the same kind of thing locally. Homes for troubled children, hospitals & rehab facilities (long term recovery from serious injuries), women's shelters & special schools can all have children who would appreciate the encouragement of little things like that. If you have a small collection to share, all the better.
