I'm waiting for my friend to get back to me on the color to let me know if it needs to be darker or not. The blue I originally had was too bright, so I darkened it and am waiting for her to let me know if I should make it even darker. As far as I know, he doesn't know (at least not for sure, I'm pretty positive he has some idea) that I'm making him a cake.

Its ok its virtual cake, I need to lose as well. So we can eat all we want this way. And no calories, so wont break your point system.

I better go get organised for the day and get some food! All this talk of cake is making me hungry.

kmedina - I am also a headache/migraine sufferer and have been for almost 30 years. Mine often hit in the morning too and can start as sinus type headaches or be triggered by weather changes or fragrance/smells. Those imitrex type meds never helped me because the rebounds were almost as bad the original headache plus I could often feel the migraine pounding in the background. I have lived on pain meds for years as the drug of choice....:3dglasses and avoiding the known triggers. And my doctors are always testing my liver functions. Now I actually need the pain meds for other physical stuff so I guess I'm killing "many birds" with one stone so to speak.

I had a horrible raction to Imitrex. It felt almost like an out of body experience. My husband had to come home from work to watch my son. Topamax took away my taste buds (not literally) and stopped working after a while. Now, I just take a reactive med (pain releiver) rather than a preventive one. I like Excedrin, but cannot take it again until I am done nursing. I know you feel though as I've had a headache almost every day of my life, since I was a teenager. If the pain scale is less than a 5 out of 10, I am happy and do not even mention it. It has been a few weeks since I've has a full blown 10 but I've had quite a few 8s lately. Right now, I am about a 7.

Baking a cake for a friend's "it's complicated" person's birthday party tomorrow, and will then be making a cake for my parents and me :)

The cake for tomorrow is chocolate with ganache filling, dark blue buttercream, and a lighter blue for the writing and piping. The cake for my parents and me will be yellow with ganache and fresh strawberries, chocolate buttercream, and various flowers on it, since I haven't practiced any of them except the rose :lmao:

Now I want some cake! :headache:

Hmm.... coffee, cake sounds good to me

That's easy, and I can make it from scratch and I have the ingredients

Oh my gosh, did you call your DR? Please get some rest since your husband is home.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I am actually feeling bettter today than yesterday.

I am sorry I was not clear. I did not mean today. I was just explaining what happened to me when I tried Imitrex. This was a couple of years ago (long before I was even pregnant with my youngest). Xander was only 2 or 3, so I needed "Crapbag" to watch him. I did not call the Dr, because I knew I had no way to get to her. By the time my husband got home, I was feeling a little better. Instead of going into the Doctor, I slept it off. My drug of choice now that I am nursing is Motrin. I have not taken a preventive med, since long before I was pregnant with Connor.
