We did not get the cat, they "thought it might get out" and "had some concerns". After about five minutes outside having a discussion they knocked on the door and said they couldn't adopt to us. I don't need to send a PM, the DIS would probably censor what I would say about them in a PM as well. I think you guys get the idea.

I don't think we can get a cat through a rescue organization here in LA. Remember the questionaire I was telling you about? This is pretty much the same one that I filled out except they also asked what food you feed.

I know what they say on the website but don't these places end up putting animals down because they can't keep them all.

Especially in these economic times there are so many animals that are homeless...

I'm glad it is a legit company. But even my piano teacher gets upset at an hangs up on charities that call. Why? She already donates formally through the right channels. You just can't trust anyone these days

I just hope you can deal with that stuff. Seriously. I wish you SO much to get the job with the extra $$ and closer.


I've slept so little and have jetlag but my body just doesn't want to sleep Had a nap for about an hour. But was tossing and turning for the next hour.
Humorously I got up from the nap the doorbell rang and it was the rest of my Christmas presents from DBF and yes...he specifically timed the arrival for this week so it could be more easily picked up. [4 day shipping] he wasn't 'late'

I can deal with the hangups, but the company isn't asking for money. It's social research (like "Hello, I'm calling from the CDC, would you like to participate in a short survey regarding childhood immunizations? You will be paid $20 via a check in the mail just for answering a few short questions").
