The ipad would probably be a better choice, but I don't want to spend that much right now.

I had a small Dell notebook that was great for traveling, but my Dad borrowed it and it came back dead. I don't want to drag my laptop around so it looks like the Kindle for us.

This is sad to say but I really like my laptop, the ipad is ok, but its still not the same.

It was a HOT weekend/couple of days. Temperatures for the two days that I was away was high 90's/100's. We would go out early in the morning and then head back to the resort to melt in the pool in the afternoon. Today, we had enough of the heat; so we hung around the resort to enjoy the facilities and then headed back to my place to just chill. The other two families just left....reluctantly. But the weather bureau has promised us thunderstorms tonight. Hopefully, we'll have cooler weather for the next week.

Still unpacking pictures...between NYE and the two days away, I have heaps of pictures to look at.

Yes quiet, but I did find out what Disney Park US big surprise was quickly. And enjoyed some Jack Daniels, He is a friend who has helped me get through the holidays many times.

DL and the MK are open 24 hours on the 29th of February. There are free day, hotel and tickets for packages over two weeks including that date. And a 4 day trip contest to DLR or WDW that is going to be awarded to 60 entrants bewtween NYE and the 29th. For Americans and Canucks, sorry.
