You get double Ralph's points for gift cards, and every 100 Ralph's points are worth a dollar in groceries in a quarterly coupon that they mail you. Today's purchase was worth $14 in groceries. If we do this for most things we buy, it really adds up. There is a max is $250 per quarter so we each have a club card. Mine generated $133 last quarter and hers got $226.

We buy Disney, Arco, Starbucks, Mickey D's, Sears, Lowe's, Home Depot...

It gets me a month of free groceries each quarter.

I made a lemon cake for DH last night, it's easy with just a glaze, if you want the recipe let me know.

Yes. Imzadi organizes the threads and we all just have a free for all over the red carpet. And then it kicks on to the show itself. Usually its more fun over the red carpet than the show. The Globes were very dull. I was around for the SAG red carpet and have only just jumped back on for the awards. Not sure how it's been going as the Dis has been so slow and people are just complaining....when they can get a post to load.

That is very interesting. I know at my grocery stores GC's done add to the fuel points. Smiths does give me coupons though with a dollar value coupon on it. I'll need to see how that is earned.

I really hate it when Fran takes the recyclable bottles out of the trash. We have a good 2 years of recycling in our garage and she just keeps accumulating more.

We just spent a boatload at Ralph's. I had coupons for frozen stuff, and I had $5 off a $75 purchase. Fran had all the frozen goodies in her cart and she hut the coupon minimum on her own I used another for my cart full of cat food, laundry stuff and personal grooming items.

I'm okay today. Had to take my best friend back to the train station this afternoon and then spent the evening baking and frosting a cake, and making more frosting. Tomorrow's the last class in my cake decorating course, so I had to have the cake ready. It's outside on the porch in its carrier, since it's cold out and there's no room in the fridge Everything's ready for tomorrow, so yay for that.

I checked Kroger is the parent of Ralphs and my Smiths so I think I may redo some shopping strategies.

Been hot and steamy all day. Even with gusting winds coming through ALL DAY stopping me from putting the laundry out on the line.
No rain....sun's out....but my clothes would be taken with the wind or ripped to pieces
