I'm taking the 4 day Wonder on July 24 2005. :rotfl:
Please tell me what is your favorite things to do on a "day at sea".......
Has anyone done: the wine tasting, a cooking class(?), if so, how were they?

The spa. :teeth: I love massages and the one I got on board was good. Many people really love the rainforest room and it is very affordable (15$?) but I didn't try that.

Sorry never did the wine tasting, but I did sit in one of the cooking classes and it looked cool (had to leave before it was over).

My favorite "day at sea" activities:

Galley Tour
Art Tour of the ship
Relax on deck 4 with a good book
Take in a movie
Relax on my verandah
Take a nap!
Hit the spa!

As you can see I like to relax on my cruise. :)

We enjoy the extra character greets on sea days & of coarse a relaxing morning at the pool. :) I have gone to High Tea & brunch at Palo and enjoyed both of them...brunch was the best!!! I have also gone on the galley tour. Very interesting!

the spa is great for at sea days, although we noticed it was more crowded on those days, especially the raniforest room (my favorite!). We did the wine tasting, did brunch one day, did high tea the other at sea day, lounged at the pool and the cove cafe, lounged on our verandah, took naps. had some room service... ahhhhhh, it was bliss! :goodvibes

Have only playerd Bingo on sea days. I always want to do more things, but have a hard time prying myself away from the pools, and outdoor activities taking place.

Whatever you do, you will enjoy it... :sunny:

My favorite thing to do on a sea day is sit by the Quiet Cove Pool with a good book and a Drink of the Day! I have also done the Art of Entertaining Series and enjoyed that. My dh and I did the couples massage and DID NOT enjoy it all....will never do another massage on board again....guess I am spoiled here at home by a famtastic massage therapist. Have a great time though.

Wine tasting, great.

cooking class, great.

We relax at the spa, relax on our balcony or around the pool.

I did the thing where I sat around on a luxurious cruise liner all day long, not being at work...

Actually, I nerded out and went to a presentation about the engineering of the ship. That was like 95% guys and 5% wives who SO didn't want to be there. But it was fun. Mostly, though, I just potzed around the ship. DW found a chair up on 10 and took in some sun and I just wandered around. Didn't get a lot accomplished, but I wasn't trying to.

Where do they do the wine tasting? Do you have to pay extra? Do you have to sign up ahead of time?

Loved the Cooking class, towel animal folding class, trivia games, art tour of the ship, 4th deck comfy cushiony lounge chairs, brunch at Palos, galley tour, I went to several other discussion/lectures too.. ..
