You can book packages now for anytime up to 12/31/2013.

I have already booked my vacation package for November 2013 for my honeymoon. Like PP have said its 499 days out, so start booking!!

But how are people that are flying booking airlines so far in advance?
We are planning on Feb 2013 and many flights are not available yet for then.

Book room and then air when they come out. You can pretty much always change room dates (unless it a really busy time of year)

Many people book now and then adjust their dates later if need be. A lot of people only have certain weeks they can travel because of school schedules, too.

we come home from our trips and book the next one within the next month. then if free dining comes out we call and change to that or if no FD we take one of the discounts on the room. this year we return November 9 and will book for fall 2013 by first of the year at the latest. Unless bounce back offer is really good...there is no limit that I ever heard of. you get a package with room and tickets you pay a deposit so they have never said anything in 65 trips to us

No, not for stays on points. Owners can vbook at their home resort 11 months in advance and at any other DVC resort 7 months in advance.
