The announcement of your name and state is not really much of a "fuss". Seconds really and the only folks watching and hearing seem to be the staff that are there to welcome you. I think you will be quite comfortable with it even if you are folks who don't enjoy a fuss. Will simply be "the ---- family from ---" little applause from the staff and you walk on through.
