....... have you access to a TV if you are at work?

( I'm not sure I can bear it!! I found watching the first game like being on a roller coaster and not being able to get off - which is fine for about half an hour, but it begins to get way too stressful after a long time!)

We have a large screen set up in the restaurant at work - although most people in the office have booked the afternoon off and are going to a local pub to watch the game.

I think Shirley means the great history of gardening programme on UK Drama. A real roller-coaster ride if ever there was one :D

Oh that. Well I won't be watching it live, but I have set my vcr to record it for future viewing pleasure.

Regards

Rob

I'll be in the pub by 10:30 to bag a front row seat.
By 12:30 I may not care who wins!

Eng-er-land, Eng-er-land, Eng-er-land.......... Eng-er-land, Eng-er-land.

Even I can remember the lyrics.

Please let us win this one. I would love to put up the '2 fingers of God' to Maradona.

No TV in office unfortunately. A group of us are taking flexi leave and going down the pub. Just for the atmosphere you understand!

We have assorted flags and are in good voice cos we've been practising.

Luckily there are a few 'sad' people in our office who don't like football, so they will be left to man the phones. sorry, person the phones. Mind you, they are sounding like martyrs alredy.

Why do so many adverts seem to say that women don't like football?

Planning a breakfast meeting for next Wednesday.

Well lucky me - our business is a sportsbook so we constantly have all the games on in our office but today at 12.30 pm i am going to stop and not do anything and scream for ENGLAND!!!!!

Lots of England fans in this house in Canada.Unfortunately my Beckham crazy son had to go to school about 5 minutes before he scored.Luckily they will show the game here a few more times in repeat.

GO ENGLAND GO!!

Hi,

I'm back from holiday today,we went to Javea on the Costa Blanca (in Spain!)

The highlight of the holiday was going to a bar on the promanade on the beach to watch the football.Five minutes before it started a group of Argentinian supporters stood up to leave (wise move!!)and we had their table at the front with the best view.....result!

It was a fantastic atmosphere and being away from home makes you more not less patriotic.I wiped a tear from my eye as we all sang the national anthem. We'd spent the week wondering if certain people or families were English, then there we all were in our glory, banners scarves,England tops.My SIL stayed on the beach and said the roar when England scored was fantastic:D She thought we'd scored 3 times as we all cheered just as loud at the 2 replays of the goal;)

Come on you Reds!
