So will you be having a white Christmas?

And if so, are you happy about it?

Upstate NY here.. Just a coating on the grass.. Was hoping for a wee bit more, but I'll take it over a brown Christmas any day.. When you've lived in this area all your life, you tend to feel like something is "missing" if there isn't any snow at all - or at least that's how my family feels..:santa:

We have a good coating of snow at the moment and should be getting a little more before the weekend is over.

Not likely - just cold but not white...and no, I'm not happy about it.

C.Ann, just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the guidance you've given me this year. I hope you get all the snow you want, 'cause Santa should be good to you, you deserve it! I would have sent a PM, but that feature isn't available.

May you be blessed with a healthy and happy new year and an early spring so you can get back to your happy place at the lake!

We have a couple inches where I live now, so I'll have a White Christmas Eve Morning, which is when DH and I do 'our Christmas'. We are then traveling to family out of state where they haven't gotten any snow yet. :sad1:

So "yes and yes" and "no and no."

Awwww.. That's sweet.. :lovestruc We'll chat after the holidays..:goodvibes

I wish the very same for you and your family - nothing but the best - because you deserve it too!!

Hope you have a very, very Merry Christmas - and 2011 brings you everything your heart desires..
:santa:

The weathermen can't make up their mind if we are getting snow or not.

I am hoping NOT!!!!

We have a light coat now, and 100% chance of 3-6 inches of gentle snow tomorrow. Gentle is a good thing. A white Christmas is nice, but I have a SIL that needs to travel from Minnesota, and I have to get to church tomorrow night! We get snowed in so easy here when the wind blows. So no wind would be a great thing!

We have already had more than 2/3 of our annual snowfall, so yes! It's been white here since 11/13, and it's snowing again now. Frankly, not terribly happy about it, as it's going to be a very long winter. But for Christmas day it's OK LOL.

I sure hope not!! :rotfl::rotfl:

What phorsenuf said! At this point, I can't say I'd be completely surprised, though. We were at Hollywood Studios Sunday evening and when it started snowing from the rooftops it was so cold it was actually believable!

We have enough snow to make it Christmas pretty but not as much to make travel dangerous so I'm liking it so far. :santa:

Without a doubt. We have a lot on the ground, and seem to be getting snow daily. Odd how we are not that 'far' away, yet the snow accumulation is so different.

Merry Xmas C. Ann :santa:
