So who's waitlisting for December already

Yesterday I switched a 1-BR at SSR to a 1-BR at VWL for all nights Dec 8-13 except Dec 10, for which we are on the waitlist now. I sure hope it comes through, because I don't want to move back and forth (as I'm sure no one does), but it seems a lot of folks are waiting for Dec 10 at one place or another.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Dec 10!

I'm assuming you called at once for all your reservations or did you call day by day? I'm very encouraged to hear you got what you wanted.

I did call once at the 7-month mark for the last day for the whole trip. I must admit I was surprised to hear that only 1 of the days was unavailable. I had previously decided that unless the whole thing was for sure, I didn't want to do a split stay, but when I found out that only 1 day was unavailable I decided to take a chance. It's still very early, so I'm hoping someone will have a change in plans!

We were in a studio at SSR, but now we're in a one-bedroom at BWV Dec 8-11. We have a boardwalk view for Friday and Saturday, so here's hoping it comes through for the last night! We're currently in pool/garden for that one night.

I got the last night of my trip to BCV. Now I am only waitlisted on Dec. 10 at BCV. I kept my room at OKW for that night so at least we have somewhere to stay. I hope my 2 BR at BCV comes through so we don't hav eto move!

Currently have a SSR studio for December 11 - 13. Still not sure if we're going, but did waitlist for BCV as the entire point of this super short trip is too enjoy the Christmas decorations and such in Epcot.

Got a call from MS -- my wait list for a GV at OKW the night of Dec. 7 came through -- yea!!

We already had a GV booked for Dec. 3-6, so we just needed that last night.

Now, we don't have to move. I did cancel a 2BR at OKW for that last night -- hope someone can use it.

Woohoo.... I called today and I decided to do day by day at VWL and got December 26 though December 30th done. Now, I just need to call the rest of the days. 4 nights down and 4 nights to go!!!

have a ressie now at SSR but it is my DS 4th birthday and had hoped for VWL.

This will be our first Christmas at WDW and wanted a hotel with a great lobby tree.

Doing the Happy Dance Already!

Got our waitlist in 2 days! We were waitlisted for Dec. 26 and 27 @ BCV for a studio. Checked the DVC web site tonight and our waitlist came through already!!!!!!

Still on waitlist for a couple of nights in October

We're confirmed at SSR Dec 9-13 studio and are waitlisted for VWL studio or 1 bd for the same dates. Would love to stay there for the Christmas vibe but will be happy to stay at SSR if waitlist doesn't come thru.
