So who was the CP guest reader tonight?

I did not have the good fortune of going into DL but the good fortune to walk just a few feet away from John Stamos. I first saw two police escorts who looked like they were on a mission and since I was on one too, I walked around them and right through the circle of CMs that were surrounding John Stamos. I recognized his distinct voice and then his face once he looked right at me. He must have thought that I was attacking him because I was trying to get back to the car as quickly as possible as my kids and hubbie were waiting for me.

I have to say that it was the highlight of my weekend. He is very tall and even more handsome in person! :worship:

I love John too.

Last August when we were in DL I was walking behind my DH and kids for some reason. We were on our way to Fantasyland...and I looked up and lo and behold there was this gorgeous woman walking toward me. She was arm and arm with a good looking guy...and it was John Stamos. He had a baseball cap on, but he looked straight into my eyes and smiled. I about fainted, I knew it was him. They were not with a plaid. I ran up to DH and said "do you know who that was?" He hadn't even noticed them. Honestly, I was looking at the woman, she caught my eye because she was beautiful. Boy, was a surprised to see who her escort was!

It was quite the experience.

I don't even know about this !!?!?!

This makes me so happy that people are doing this. Is this all month ? Are the general public open to watching this, or do you have to pay extra ? Gosh I feel so lame for asking these questions

At DL it's only the first weekend of December, there are 4 performances total (2 on Saturday & 2 on Sunday - at WDW, they have it all month long at Epcot with different celebrity narrators). There are 3 price points, starting around $80 for dinner and a seat for the show (park admission is separate), and tickets sell out REALLY fast. The seats extend about 1/2 way through Towne Plaza, and everything behind that is standing room only. That's where we were, but we were lucky and got a really great spot right between City Hall and the Fire Dept, standing directly behind the seating area so no heads to block our view! ;)

Well first off, whoever else said they must be old, ummm I'm RIGHT THERE with you!!! cuz that is how I refer to him as too. . . BLACKIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. . . oh the good ole days of GH! :rotfl2:

Hey, we watched instant replay saturday, and they came out on their first set ROCKIN!

I'd love to do it, but there's NO way. Who knows, maybe next year ;)

That would be me (the old one!) - I recall John Stamos playing Blackie Parrish on GH, and he was in a band with Frisco (Jack Wagner). Lord, that feathered hair! Yikes! Blackie ended up going to prison for killing Lou! And then John Stamos eventually ended up on Full House, where he became familiar to a whole new audience. And then he went on to ER, to get some 'serious acting cred.'

And then he went on to do the Candlelight Processional narration at DLR - his finest work so far!:santa: :goodvibes

A little off topic... but did the Candlelight Proc. make DL more crowded all day or was it just in the evening around main street?

I sure think it did! me and my daughter are going this weekend, till you how the two compare monday!

Did you ever see John Stamos when he was touring with the Beach boys as their drummer??? Whew hottie, I like him too!:)

Yes it did. I went to get a fast pass for Space Mountain around 11am and the return time was 6pm.

When we were there on the Sunday (Dec. 7), one of the CMs told us that they didn't like John Stamos. Reason being, he was said to be kind of pushy and rude, and rather demanding with CMs. This CM went on to tell us that the best celebrity narrator was Tom Hanks, because he bought everyone in the park a Churro
