We just got home from the 5:30 showing. It was our first time going, so we don't have anything to compare it to, but we thought he did a great job. He got a little sentimental at the end and talked about how he grew up going to Disney, how he has so many wonderful memories there, and how this one will be one of his faves. It was really cool.

Here are a few pics when he came out for the mic check about 90 minutes or so before the show. He said hello to everyone waiting, it was really cute. You could tell he was genuinely excited to be there. Notice he's wearing a CM name tag? How adorable is that?!? There are a couple more at the bottom from the performance. It was funny, during the show while everyone else was doing their thing, he was sitting in the chair and kept looking around at the audience with this giant smile on his face. Kind of like he was just soaking it all in, and couldn't believe he was really up there.

Oh, and notice the trumpet players on the roof....that was SO AWESOME!

He is dating some wench named Leah, who I think may be a student of some kind (not sure). Quick, let's lock her in a closet!! She is quite a bit younger than he is, so she couldn't possibly appreciate his vast Disneyland memorabilia collection (includign the original DL sign)! (I am just grasping for reasons as to why she must, clearly, be a horrible match for John !!

John Stamos has quite the wild life - he has dated some of Hollywood's most well-known actresses - and he is a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show (shhhh! Don't tell anyone that I listen to Howard, but I do! ). He and Howard are friends and have been on vacation together a lot, and John was even on Howard's recent honeymoon! Howard and his wife got married a couple of months ago, then went to the Hamptons for a week to have a quasi-honeymoon. John and his girlfriend Leah went along. Apparently, John played drums at Howard's wedding reception when different folks were singing, and a lot of the ladies at the reception were telling Howard they were not all that impressed with John Stamos' looks, and that he was "not that great looking." However, when he got up to play drums, many of them changed their minds and decided they liked him...not to mention that John is also on "ER" too, and does a good job on that show, as well as performs in musicals like "Cabaret." And he is supposed to be a nice person on top of it all.

So combine all of those qualities with the fact the John Stamos loves Disneyland, and he is stellar boyfriend potential!

We've seen him a couple of times at the parks, and my heart just swoons every time (DH2B just doesn't know about that part...LOL)

The whole time he was up there, I kept thinking of the many stories I've heard him tell on Howard, including the one about Howard's wedding & honeymoon, and then there's the infamous story from when he was married to Rebecca and the "swap", and the great mystery behind it.

Oh, good! I am not the only Howard fan on here! Actually, I think it's you, me and another DISboard member called SternfanLA. Three of us. That's it! Truthfully, this is actually a much more pleasant board than the boards devoted to Howard are, so I would much rather be here!!!

Apparently, from other stories I have read about John Stamos, he takes all his dates to DLR! Oh, if only the stupid men I have dated in the past INSISTED in taking me to DLR! If only! Many of them wouldn't even set foot in the park! He even took Ralph to DLR (that is a Stern reference that only PryncessChrysty will understand)!!

Yes, PryncessChrysty, I don't want to veer too off-topic on the open forum, but that 'Rebecca-swap story' has evolved and changed over the years, hasn't it? We will probably never know what REALLY happened!

I have never seen John Stamos - nor any even remotely cool celebrity (unless you count Paul Sorvino!) at DLR. One of these days, I will!

Oh gosh, I couldn't imagine Ralph there! He seems like he would just be too cool for school walking around all high & mighty. LOL

It was funny, I was telling my DH2B when we were leaving that I wished John had an appearance soon on HS so that I could hear him talk about the CLP, but since he was just on a few weeks ago, I'm sure that won't happen. Boo hoo.

We see a celebrity almost every time we go, even if we just stop by for an hour or two. A little tip, look for the tour guide CM's. The one's in the red/blue plaid. If they have a group of people behind them with blue headphones, that's just a tour group (obviously), but the celebrities almost always have one with them, and the "plaids" stand out more than the stars. I've never seen John with one, though. The couple of times we've seen hime, he was just with a small group of people.

In the past few month's alone we've seen Dennis Quaid, Harold Parrineau (Michael from Lost), Wilmer Valderrama (same day as the CLP, he was with a HUGE group of people and had 2 CM's taking them around), Donald Faison (love him!) with Cacee Cobb, Adam Sandler, Alan Covert, we've also seen a few sports people that I've recognized, but don't know their names. However, not all the "plaids" are escorting celebrities, some are just people that can afford the $150/hr fee for the personal tour guide (oh yeah, that doesn't include park admission)

I love John too.

Last August when we were in DL I was walking behind my DH and kids for some reason. We were on our way to Fantasyland...and I looked up and lo and behold there was this gorgeous woman walking toward me. She was arm and arm with a good looking guy...and it was John Stamos. He had a baseball cap on, but he looked straight into my eyes and smiled. I about fainted, I knew it was him. They were not with a plaid. I ran up to DH and said "do you know who that was?" He hadn't even noticed them. Honestly, I was looking at the woman, she caught my eye because she was beautiful. Boy, was a surprised to see who her escort was!

It was quite the experience.
