So - who wants to speculate about Harry Potter book 6?

Did you know that the new title is "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince"? It was announced in a very clever way on JK's website (http://www.jkrowling.com/ - it's a <b>very</b> cool site, you'll need flash to view it, but if you can find the door (via a portkey on JK's desk) and push the right brick combination to get past the wall you'll find how JK told everyone the book title. Clue: You'll need a breeze.)

No word yet when it's be released as JK is still writing it, but she has already said the the Half Blood Prince isn't Harry or Voldy! Hmmmm......

I love that site. It is great looking at the rumours and the response from JK Rowling herself Definately one of my favourites. I definately enjoy the books more than the films.

I know a lot of people have been saying the Half Blood prince could be Neville, but I thought he was a pure blood and think his name is only coming up because JK has hinted he's to become a more prominent character in future, however I'm more inclined to think it's Hagred - who says the half blood has to be half wizard/muggle after all?

We think it would be fun if the half blood prince is Dudley, that would stir things up a bit, after all his mother is sister to a wizardess - Harrys mum, perhaps she is one too and that is why she was a bit funny in the last book.
Most unlikely but you never know....

I only discovered the site the other day, it's fab I can't wait for book 6 to come out. It'll be interesting to see who the half-blood prince is.... exciting stuff!!!

My personal favourite for the HBP would be Snape. Or it could be someone who is a champion of Half-bloods, not necessarily a half blood themselves, such as Arthur Weasley.

Loads of people on the Harry Potter forums I frequent (too much) thought it was going to be Mark Evans. But today JKR answered the FAQ poll question about his significance. I won't spoil it, you can look at her site, but he's not the HBP.

I'd heard about that Mark Evans theory before but never ever bought it. That would then make him a relative of HP in which case why would would Dumbledore have placed him with such a horrible family as the Dursley's if there was an alternative available?
