So who shopped this morning?

Got up late -- decided last minute to just deal with whatever I come across. CompUSA was absolutely packed at 6:45 a.m., and I walked out as fast as I walked in!

Went to Target -- got some miscellaneous Christmas stuff and some clothes for DS and DD. Got "Up" movie for $13 -- some other misc. DVDs.

Then to Kohls -- Got a $65 pair of boots for DD for $20, and Totes slippers for $3.99. Necklace for DD -- originally $55 marked down o $10. Felt pretty good about some other deals there.

Really wanted a laptop for DS15 and a netbook for DD10 -- was too late for any in-store deals -- got a netbook from Target online for $289 and a laptop for DS for $449 (4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive) at Staples online.

Done for the kids -- might need to find a couple of things to "even out", but I'm feeling good about it.

We shopped at:

Office Depot
HP Labtop $299 (after rebate)
HP Printer Free (after rebate)
Vivatar Camera $49.00 (after rebate)
Shredder $14.99 (after rebate)
2 Cordless Telephones $29.99 (after rebate)

Target
DVD Player $19.99
1.5 quart crockpot $3.00
Several DVD's from $2.99 to $5.99

We went out at 10am to Target. They had 500gb and 1tb external drives on sale for $59, we got one of each.

Does the 7-11 shopping count? :lmao:

I opened today, which meant I walked into the building at 3am, by the time I was done at 10 I had no desire to do any physical shopping. Though amazingly I wasn't stalked to my parking space and was able to get home in what's typical week night traffic. Guess the deals just weren't that outrageous this year.

Though I can say that as I was rounding the building around 7, someone wanted to know that if the DVD player we had set up playing the Scene-It promo was $14.99 while holding the Twilight Scene-it Box. Up the visual person went for the "Display Item, not for sale sticker". If it was $14.99, everyone on my list would've been getting one for x-mas.

Got up at 4:30 and headed out

Target-The line was looooong and stretched the entire length of the store and probably another store length down to the road. I stayed in my car until the end of the line was almost in the store. Didn't bother with a cart and got:
-Barbie scooter
-1TB external hard drive
-7" portable dvd player

Ran next door to Gamestop to grab Wii Sports Resort package with 2 motion thingies, they were only allowing people in the store as people exited but it was orderly. Ended up buying nothing b/c the store hadn't been sent the extra motion thingies, the clerks were not happy. Stopped by Office Depot, walked in and walked right out. None of the lines were moving and nothing we wanted was a doorbuster so we'll stop by later this weekend.

Old Navy-Hours after opening so no problem getting in or out
-4 pairs of jeans
-yoga pants
-scarf, hats, gloves

Kohls-Only wanted a disney snuggie and they were sold out, so nothing. The store was packed even though it was hours after opening, it was really hot and the lines were still really long.

Lowes-
-small crockpot

Walmart-not too bad, but looked like the place had been ransacked. They were totally cleaned out of pjs, hoodies, etc so I just grabbed coats for DD's coat drive at school
-3 coats

All in all I'm happy, I came home and took a nap. DH is thrilled that I got his hard drive and we both really needed new jeans, so it's all good.

Strolled into WalMart at 10:45. Waited in the CS line for 5 minutes. Had them price adjust the DS I bought earlier this week and returned the Nerf Armor I had bought.

Looked though toys and such but wasn't much left. I did find a TomTom from the ad but wasn't in the mood to stand in line for an hour, so I left.

Came home and bought the same Nerf Armor on Amazon for $5 less than I paid.

FTR, while WalMart was crazy, they had tons of doorbusters still available. They had probably 15 of the Emerson 32 inch TVs (at $248) and the 42 inch TVs (at $448), and they were bringing them in by the palletload. They were leaving the floor quickly, but they were definitely available. I eyed the 32 inch for our bedroom for about 10 seconds and then decided the TV wasn't worth the line any more than the TomTom was. ;)

Hit Old Navy, got a stack of fleeces (YAY)
Got the free rock band game... (DOUBLE YAY!!)
Got in line at 1 with my ipod and hung out.. only thing bad was it started raining about 2.
Blech
Came home, hit gamestop on the way and got my 2 DS lites.
combineed with what I've done previously I can declare my Christmas

Oh Wow! Congrats on the Rockband. I thought about trying to get that but decided that since I only wanted two pairs of jeans otherwise the line wasn't worth the chance that I might get the game.

Kimmo, thanks for the original post, I always love seeing what everyone gets!:goodvibes
We JUST walked in the door and unloaded from being gone since 1:30 this morning....was at walmart and got every single thing I wanted...except the Wii bundle online <sigh> ended up just going to Costco and buying the Wii

At Walmart we got:
3 Tom Toms at $59 each
basketball goal at $99 <the only thing we HAD to wait for 5 am to purchase>
Tv stand at $89
the Rubbermaid deal they had
digital photo frame for $29.99
several Wii games at $10 each
Several movies at $2 each
Sony digital camera
TONS of towels at $2 each
2 electric blankets for the boys at $18 each

Then headed to Target later for the Sex and the City Movie for $3.99...didnt get there until about 9 am though and ended up scoring the last Lego Castle set for $49.99 regularly priced at $89 and a luggage set for MIL :thumbsup2

I left the house at 4:15 am. Went straight to Lowe's and sat in my car in the parking lot for about an hour or more before anyone else showed up (wasn't sure what to expect, so I got their earlier than needed apparently. :rotfl:, but at least I was in my warm car!

I finally got out of the car about 5:40 when the first other people got there. They opened at 6:00. I was first in line (and my BFF showed up with Starbucks about 10 minutes before 6 ) and got a Washer and Dryer!! Front loaders!! Both pieces for $1000!! :woohoo:

Got out of there about 6:20.
Next was Kohls, Bath and Body Works, Chick Fil A for a quick bite, then Kirkland's, Michael's, Target and our local Running Store.

Here's what I got:

Lowe's:
Whirlpool Washer and Dryer

Kohl's:
Baby girl clothes for my angel
Cute Reindeer decoration for an exchange gift
Sweatpants and shirts for DS

Bath and Body Works:
Wallflowers and refills
Fragrance oils and one snowman burner
I also got their cute $15 tote full of goodies (if you spend $40) - lots of great stuff for gift giving!

Kirkland's:
Nothing....nothing at all!

Michael's:
2 Cricut cartridges (one for Mom, one for me) - for $27 each
Scrapbook storage bin -- wooden with the dividers

Target:
Lots of cute sweaters and shirts for me!!
Super cheap DVDs (Happy Feet, Elf and Grinch)

The washer/dryer were the big thing....everything else was just whatever I happened to come across that we wanted/needed.

Since I waited so long before anyone got there at Lowe's it was a bit anti-climatic for me, but it was still so much fun! Can't wait for "day after Christmas" sales and to do it again next year!

Me!!!!! I got some great deals
We did:
JCPenney-4am

Home Depot
16 gallon wet/dry vac for $19.88

Back in bed by 6:30a.m.!

I left home at 7:30 a.m. I steadfastly refuse to go out any earlier due to the lines and craziness. Once the stores have been open for 3 or 4 hours, the insanity has calmed a bit. ;)

I went to OfficeMax to get something for dh and that was the only line I had to wait in, and it was only maybe about 10 minutes. Walked across the parking lot to Kohl's, walked up to the jewelry counter & took a number, and they were calling it as I pulled it. :thumbsup2 Got my mil $115 earrings for $25.

Left there and went to Best Buy to get the 3 $10 iTunes cards for $25. Again, no line. Next stop was Home Depot for a gift for dh ... no line. Hit the mall to pick up Sanders chocolates for stockings, and while the outside parking lot was nuts, I got a spot right by the door in the parking garage. In and out in 5 minutes.

All told, I was out for 90 minutes and got everything I needed!! :goodvibes

I got just about everything I wanted from each store
Target- 2:45
Best Buy- 6:00
Kohls- 6:30
home for an hour
Sports Authority- 10:20
First mall- 12:00

now we're finally home!

Lets see we started at midnight. Disney Store and aeropostale and then back home for a nap. Then on to Target and Kohl's. Home for another quick break than on to a local skateboarding shop and custom bike place. Then onto Staples for the free batteries deal. Home for a short bit then went to Target again. Went to another bike stoe to price check. Finally bought bike at shop #1.

We also did some online shopping as well

wow.. we were out at about 12:30 this morning and just now returned.. .

Wow!! You made out like a bandit!! Not sure I made out that well, but still did pretty well... Was up at 1:40, pulled into the Tommy Hilfiger outlet at 2:06 AM... And I haven't napped in between!

Then went to Badd and got some great fleece jammies and slipper socks for my mom... They had tons of great deals and 50% = 10 more % off everything... Lots of buy 1 get 2 free's but nothing I needed.

Then it was off to Wal Mart by 4am. We were able to land a cart which was a huge feat in itself. People were dragginf around sticking carts and garbage barrels oncethe carts were gone. I had everythng on my list by 5:25 or so... Checking out took longer than the actual collection of items... Here is was I got:

Fisher Price lights and sound 123 ball - $9
Candy jewelry maker $15

30% off eveything at Adidas,
50% + 10% more at Osh Kosh and Carters
25% off everything at Nike... Lots more deals and bargains but I was strictly sticking to my list!!

With deals like this - its hard to shop at the Malls! I am 90% done, just a few GCs to pick up and some last minute things! :wizard:
