Ok, who was up at 4am with all the other crazies shopping this morning?

I was!

What did you get?

I just had time to get to Walmart. I got a cart full of stuff, everything on my list:

Play-doh sets (pm Target ad)
UP & Tinkerbell DVD (pm Target ad)
3 angel kid coats
3 mp3 player (me, brother, angel kid)
portable dvd player (me! yay! am I the last one to get one of these?)
a mixer & chopper (for me!)
a color wonder paint set (for my baby girl!)
a ton of PJs (for the angel tree kids and my kiddo)
track suits (angel kids)
a skateboard (angel kid)
jeans (brother and angel kid)
a tupperware set (for me! all my plastic stuff will match - woohoo)

whew! Way more than I normally buy but it was fun :)

So how'd you all do?

My one must have was a desktop computer and naturally I didn't get one in spite of a very early start. None of the stores had the goods ones available online either. Hope there is a decent sale later on.

I got most of the small stuff I wanted, which wasn't a lot.

My dh decided to go to get the PS3 bundle so he went and dragged his mom along with him! :rotfl: Anyway, he picked that up along with a couple of flash drives for $8 and the $79 blu ray DVD player.

His mom went for toys and clothes so they also got a ton of PJs for the kids, some hoodies, waterproof boots, my mil got a coat, and I asked for 10 of the fleece throws which were $4 each and will be the daycare teacher holiday gifts. They got a bunch of other stuff too, the whole trunk was filled :upsidedow I honestly can't even think of everything I asked for but he was super excited that he got everything on the list!

woke up around 3am and couldnt get back to sleep so went online and did some shopping at old navy.

bought-
4 fleece pullovers
1 pair of jeans for dd
2 shirts for me
2 shirts for dd
total $50 not bad

woke up around 6:30 ds bday:wizard: kiddos wanted to go to target to spend their report card money so I said okay since we were waiting on dh to get home off shift so ds could open his gifts. ds wanted the nerf gun but once he got there changed his mind. Oh well. Got there and found some $5.00 PJs for the kids for christmas and $4.00 hanes sweatpants for ds. Bought $5.00 cootie game for my nephew. $8.00 jeans and a $6.00 holiday shirt for dd. I received my $10 GC didnt realize that was coming. I figure I will go back and buy cupcakes for ds for his class on monday to celebrate his bday.

came home and ordered dd's Itouch thru best buy since we definitely want a accidental breakage warrenty. That is worth it IMO if Im going to spend that kind of money so I didnt even look at walmart, etc. Also bought ds the star wars clone lego someone posted on here online.

Thats it for me..

I just went to Target and CVS. I got the 8 gig ipod nano for DD - 145.00 at Target but got 25.00 worth of Target gift cards with it. (15.00 with the nano plus the 10.00 gift card they were giving out for 100.00 spent because I bought it separately at the electronics counter).

Then I did the rest of my Target shopping - down comforters for all our beds (29.99 each), new flannel sheets for all (13.99) a couple of 4 gig SDHC cards - 10.00 each. I got another gift card when I paid for that! :thumbsup2

Nothing too exciting at CVS - just a bunch of stuff that had major extra bucks attached making them less than 1.00: toothbrushes, colgate, herbal essences shampoo, etc. I did get a set of Phillips ear buds there, basically for free - on sale for 6.99 and I got 6.99 extra bucks back. Plus I got myself a heating neck massage pillow that was 20.00 with 10 extra bucks back, making it "cost" 10.00. I had 10.00 extra bucks to spend so I figure it was "free". :rolleyes1

Yesterday, I ordered Snuggies for everyone in the family (my parents, my sister, her 3 kids, her boyfriend, my cousin, my DD and then so we'd fit in I got them for DH and myself as well) at Kmart online yesterday for 9.99 each and free shipping. The girls/women are all getting leopard print and the boys/men are getting camel which should coordinate nicely for some goofy family pictures. :rotfl2:

The CVS extra bucks and Target cards will basically pay for our stocking stuffers so we are pretty much done shopping except for a couple of Wii games I need to get on Amazon!

Best part is I didn't go until I woke up on my own at 7:00 so I got sleep and best of all, I missed the rush and the lines and still was able to get everything on my list.

There actually wasn't too much out there this year that I needed. But I did hit Target and get several movies (Up, Dr. Suess stuff, Snow White, etc.) and Razor scooters for my 5yo twins. Oh, and a 700tc sheet set for me and DH...whoohoo!

I went to WalMart mainly to shop for the family my moms group at church adopted. I had a $300 budget and managed to get clothing, coats, shoes and toys for three toddler girls, clothes for their 17yo sister, and a $100 Visa gift card for their mom. Not bad! I also got a cheapo Eureka vacuum for us because ours died.

Grabbed a few stocking stuffers at Justice and some toys and christmas decorations at Marshalls. I am pretty much done for the day...too tired to go on!

Waste of my time! Should have known better! I wasn't even going for electronics or highly sought after items. :sad2:

I did buy:

Cabbage Patch doll for my niece: $9
Night Vision Goggles for my son: $39.00

I went to my mall quickly and stopped in the scrapbooking store for a few things for my mom (got cricket cartridges for $25 each ) and I bought my dad the new Super Mario Bro's game... I did most of my shopping online today tho. I just couldn't leave the house at 4:45am. ha!

Get up? I haven't gone to bed yet. My dd16 and ds15 wanted to go shopping so we went to the mall for 2 shopped the Disney Store, bought a few things: an ornament, Cinderella doll, Jasmine Doll, Disney Play house block sorter, suitcase with pillow and blanket. Then we headed to Old Navy where I bought a few fleece pullovers for my ds8, and a few shirts.
Target was next, the line snaked the whole store, I have never seen anything like it. There wasn't to much I wanted but my son wanted the Nerf gun that was on sale. The line was organized, I just never seen such a rush thru the store before, you couldn't look, people were pushing their way down the isles. I went to the Christmas tree shop, could of stayed home, really wasn't worth the drive. Now I'm home, in my pj's resting. I really didn't think there was that many great deals out there. Every year I've been able to get items marked down at Old Navy with an additional amount off, there was nothing like that this year.

Got 100% of my list too. I went to places in a different order this year, and really did not think it was as busy as last year.

I live in the middle of nowhere, so I had to get up at 2:00 to leave my house by 2:20. I have an hour drive to Wal-Mart and the parking lot was already full at 3:20. I went in and asked where the Nitendo DS Lite were going to be sold and, of course, no one knew where they were going to be. Finally, an associate said they were going to be in electronics. I went back there and there was a line with about 50 people in it...most of them with carts. After standing in line for a few minutes, an associate made an announcement that the DS's were going to be sold in the grocery, so I took off walking briskly (I just had a shopping basket, so I did not get caught up in the cart clustermuck that ensued). When I got to the grocery area, I ended up being 4th in line!!! I was quite happy with that. Our Wal-Mart only had 100 of them and there were way more than a hundred people in line and they had a limit of 5 per person. Most of the DS's were pink, so I am happy that I got there in time to get a red one...my oldest DS would not have been happy with a pink DS.. I grabbed all I needed from Wal-Mart and checked out by 5:15. I drove to K-Mart...another 15 minute drive and waited in line outside until it opened at 6:00. I was quite pleased that I was able to get everything I wanted from K-Mart...they only had 1 item of one of things I wanted and 2 of the other. I was shocked about such small quanities. I went to Target after that, but everything I wanted at Target was gone and the line to check out wrapped practically the entire way around the store. I hadn't looked at the Toys R Us ad, but decided to go over there. I was surprised to find WebKinz's for $8.99 and so I bought some and then a play cottage for my DD (the one I orginally wanted was at Target and it cost more $, so I am happy Target was all out of them).

In summation, here is what I got:

Wal-Mart:
Nitendo DS - $98
Nitendo DS Starter Kit - $10
Nitendo DS Game (2 of them at $10 each) - $20
Princess Dress-Up trunk - $19
Winter Boats (3 pair at $7 each) - $21
Tool Kit - $25
Nitendo Wii Game (2 of them at $10 each) - $20
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur Movie - $9

K-Mart:
Big Buck Hunter Video Game - $29.99
Electric Drum Set - $19.99 (I am sure I am going to regret this purchase :lmao:
Imaginext Bat Cave w/ free Batmobile - $44.99

Toys R Us:
WebKinz (3 at $8.99 each) - $26.97
Rose Petal Cottage - $14.99 - REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!!! (It was orginally $50)

Starbucks:
Venti Cafe Mocha...I don't remember how much, but it was certainly worth it...I needed a serious caffine jolt to make my drive home! :lmao:

5 AM to a packed Wal-mart. I live in a rural area and I've never seen it like that before.

I managed to get

Elefun
MegaBlocks
2 hoodies
several pjs
a few $2 movies

Also I got a dent in my van from pulling into the parking space the wrong way. Fortunately I only grazed the rubber bumper of a trunk but I felt so bad

Online:

$9 Ford County by John Grisham that I couldn't find in store
$70 12 megapixel camera w/ bonus items that I bought yesterday bc I didn't want to stand in line at Wal-Mart for their camera
$20 comforter from BonTon

We are going to AC Moore and Toys R Us tonight for their 2 day sales.

I should mention that everyone was at target this morning instead of WM. One of my friends was there and we were tag teaming the angel tree kids and she had to wait in line for an HOUR just to check out!

I was at the Disneystore at 11:20 and ended up being the 5th person there, but so many people cut in front of me when the line formed! But the store was so organized, the employees friendly, and they only let people in as shoppers exited, which kept the store easy to get through. IMpressed! I walked away with:
6 ornaments
3 fleece lined zip up hoodies
2 pairs of sweats
coordinating t shirt
wall E beanie and gloves set

My friend and I had a blast and I can't wait to do it again! Plus, I"m going to Disneyland on Sunday and don't have to spend $14 on an ornament!!!! :yay:

My mom and I went out around 7am. I got:

Kohls:
6qt KitchenAid mixer (ends up being around $240 after their sale, extra 15% off coupon and $50 rebate)
she got some ornaments

Michael's:
Cricket Personal ($69) - I bought one a few weeks ago for $130 so I'll be returning that!
Mickey Font for Cricket ($35)

Toys R Us:
Drum Set
Guitar
More ornaments for mom

Target:
some Leapster games for $15 year
a couple of movies
Crockpot
2 toasters (we each wanted one)
and oddly enough, a great deal on T-bone steaks for dinner tonight. lol

We were back home by 9:30! There was hardly anyone out.

I did my shopping online at 3:30 AM. I tried at 3 but the WM site wasn't working. I did manage to get everything I wanted, though, and am having it all shipped to my work. My DH is sick today (upset stomach and body aches), so I think I might just stay home the rest of the day in my jammies, too.
