I'm taking my little sister (21) for a quick girls only trip right before Christmas (17-23). I am soooo excited about this trip! I've convinced her that this has to be a budget trip so not to expect anything really fancy (she's a college student so I'm footing the bill this time - she wants to go to Med school so it will be her turn eventually ) and since our flight doesn't get in until 10:30 the first night we're staying at Pop. Well - then we are checking into GF for the rest of the trip and are pulling out all the stops! I can't wait to see the look on her face! We're going to Cirque, having an entire spa day at GF, eating all kinds of good stuff (character meals and upscale like Narcoossee's), and shopping, shopping, shopping!

This will be our first time at the World duing Christmas! I can hardly wait and I don't know if I can keep my mouth shut or not!!!

Any suggestions for things not to miss?

Love your pic. I have been planning this trip from 15 months out and i believe that I too have become obsessive about it.

I have been to so many web sites and read so many guide books I think my eyes might pop. But it is the first time for my girls (3 & 5) so i am trying to cover my bases while still having a good time.

I can't beieve its only 2 months away. We are staying 12/11 thr 12/18. Hope you have a great time.

wooo hooo....here we are...OCTOBER!!!! i cant believe it!!!! we are all getting sooo excited about going.....cant wait.....i have this lady that makes my daughter bows for her hair...well she is making her disney bows for each day we are there ....she has a tinker bell one..a minnie mouse one...a princess one...we are working on some christmas ones....ohhh...cant stand it....my son says we are riding the buzz lightyear ride first thing!!...

I have the resorts picked out. I have airfare. I have the towncar scheduled. I have all of my ps. I have surprises for the family.

I have something special planned for my son-in-law, lots planned for my granddaughter and the happy couple are going to Pleasure Island.

My present will be their happy smiles.

well, we don't check in at POR until 12/29 but there will still be decorations and we can still see the parade so i think it counts!!!!! i'm so excited i can barely stand it....DD will turn 7 on jan 2 and i was SOOOOO lucky to get crt reservations for her birthday breakfast and i didn't call until Monday!!!! This is our first vacation and I've been so fortunate as to not have any difficulty with ps's or anything!!!!!!

I just went to a travel agent to see if there were newer forms and pamphlets about what is going on at WDW and they have the Christmas ones with the lights, parades and all that. I really can not wait to get there, I am sure you are the same. Do you have kids? I have a DD 8yr and DS 10yr (who is turning 11 while at WDW).

insmom, just DH and I are going this time, we have gone 2 times before when the kids were smaller, they are all grown up now, so hubby and I thought we would do WDW by ourselves, it will be really different this time, we haven't been to WDW since 1981 so alot has changed
