So, who is going for Christmas 2004???

We're booked for December 16 - December 26!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

This will be our second trip during Christmas and our first MVMCP! We'll be attending on the 17th! I wish my countdown timer would hurry up! Never thought I'd be wishing my summer away!

I just wanted to see who else might have a trip counter going that is as large as ours! We've never been to Disney during the Holidays and cannot contain our excitement for a trip that's 10 months away! I think I'm going to need a major support group by April considering how slow the counter has been moving.:(

Now this is a trip counter! Christmas Vacation after daughter graduates from the academy.

We are planning for Dec 18 to 23rd. It's our first trip ever as as family. Hubby and I both went when we were kids, but that was a looooong time ago. And my son spent the night at one of his friend's house the other night, when he came home he said, "Guess where Tyler and his family are going for Christmas??? Man, that would be cool. " And I replied " Yes, It would. Guess where you are going for Christmas?!?!" It wasn't the way we had planned to tell him, but I couldn't pass that up. He is estactic!

See Ya There!

WOW! Thanks Zurgswife!!!!!! Looks like a WHOLE LOT of Christmas DISer's!

I'm mulling a trip from Dec 18-27th. What will the crowds be like?
Also, for those who have been before what did you get for AP rates on rooms? It will be value season. Thanks!!!

We were there from the 20th until Jan 2 last year and the crowds didn't get bad until Dec 25th....so for most of your time they should be OK...

We're going 12/8-12/14 and just can't wait! I called to change my Pop Century reservation today by 1 day and found out I was on a mailing list for $49 so I got to switch rates too! Woo Hoo! With 2 rooms that is an awesome savings for us!

This is our 2nd trip to Disney, can anyone tell me more info about Mickey's Christmas party? Based on the little bit I found on it I'm not seeing justification for the expense? Am I missing something? My 6yr old's bd is 12/9 so we're celebrating and doing at least 2 character meals, and to be honest I wasn't seeing what the big deal was on the party. We're from PA so gosh knows we see enough snow here, I'm not worried about seeing it on Main St!

We are going Dec. 17 until the day after Christmas, then flying home Dec. 27th on Monday. Is the MVMCP just for people staying on Disney property? We got the Renaissance Orlando Resort on Priceline and then Christmas Eve and Christmas we're staying at the Hard Rock Hotel on Universal Property. Could we do the MVMCP, or is it just for those staying right on Disney property? This will be our first trip at Christmas and our first time to see the decorations!
Thanks!

Anybody can go who buys a ticket. The 17th is the last day for MVMCP so cross you fingers and hope they have not sold out yet. I would get on the Phone pronto and order those tickets. Good Luck!:D

We just changed our dates from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7th and will be there until the 16th! We're leaving on Dec. 6th late at night, I'm going to be so tired the next day. The first day will definately be a day of relaxation. So exicted, it's our 1st trip! We also switched to the GF, the themeing of the resort is just perfect. I wish it was December already! :Pinkbounc

If you're cost conscious a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket can be a 'substitute' for one day at the MK. For example instead of buying a 5 day hopper, buy a 4 day hopper and a MVMCP ticket.

Even though a ticket for MVMCP is just for one evening the number of people in the park is small enough that ride waits are short and you can ride pretty much everything in the park in the shorter time. This is especially true if you get to the park early. If the 'official' opening time is 7 show up at the gate at 6:45 - and head straight for the 'back' of the park when you enter, for some reason people stick around Main Street getting their picture taken and oohing and aahing over the 'snow'. For the first hour or so you'll be able to walk onto everything 'out back'.

The 'special' parts of MVMCP - the Family picture, free hot chocolate and cookies, the pin, and the parade/fireworks are worth something too.

To make you all feel better about your December Disney trip that seems so far away to you - I'm not going until December, 2005 (my 40th birthday is Christmas, 2005!) - so I have a much longer wait! Hope you guys post some of the best things to do during that season!

Will be there 12-24 thru 12-30; Wyndham on 12-24 one night (get into MCO on 12-24 @ 8p.m., didn't want to use points) and the remainer will be at OKW

We'll be at the Wilderness Lodge from 12/19 thru 12/27. Excited but apprehensive. It will be me, my DW and DS (6 years old). We've never celebrated Christmas without family and friends (and always at our house both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

Count us in. We will be there from 12/19 to 12/27
We loved being at disney over Christmas last year so we decided to do it again.

Count us in as well-We are going 12-23 to the 30th. I know a crazy time of year-crowd wise, but I did not want to take the kids (ds 11y and dd 8y) out of school. Next time we will go in the spring and take them out of school. Any suggestions on touring guide of this time of year. Sorry if this was talked about already (Icouldnt go through all 18 pages of threads:crazy:

I have set up, or in the process of setting up 2 PS and looking to do another one. I am doing 1 or 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. Any help will be appriciated.::yes::

We will be staying at the WL 12/2 - 12/6. My sister-in-law and her husband are going with us. They have not been to Disney World in many years. We cannot wait.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
