So who has to call Monday

So how many of you have to call on Monday for the SS Member Cruise?

I thought about it, but I have already borrowed over half my 2003 points and since I had no idea what the cash price was I decided just to skip this one. (Although reading everyone's posts makes me sad I did!)

We'd be into '04 if we did the cruise. It sounds like a lot of fun but after sitting down and realizing we could do 2 trips to OKW (10 days) in a 2br then another summer trip of 5 nights at VB, it seemed as though we should do that instead. We also had concerns of the temperatures. Living in southern Florida we have that thin blood and might freeze trying to swim in the pool on board or at CC.

I'm sure all that are going will have an awesome time. Congrats to all.

Reading about the member cruise makes me wish we could go too even the the points/cash is higher. I just saw that Cat. 4 is still available so for the fun of it, I thought I'd try to figure out how much it would be. Does anyone know if we can use points for 3 kids and pay cash for the adults?

According to others who booked already, you can use points or cash or a combination of the two.

We've been back and forth on this one all week. If only we had the points, we'd be there. We are so torn about whether or not to spend the cash right after a trip to WDW over NYE and so early in the year of our 10 year anniversary and DH 40th birthday. Do we do this cruise or wait and do something more spectacular later? I thought we were at peace with our decision not to go, now after seeing that it's almost sold out and thinking about how much fun you guys are all going to have, I'm soooo tempted to call on Monday and book whatever they have left. Our vacation budget has been seriously curtailed by college expenses and it's so difficult to ween myself from just picking up and going whenever the mood strikes! Oh the torture of it all
