I had to call my TA to asks a few questions regarding my upcoming RCL cruise in a few weeks (this is my first time sailing with RCL). After she answered my questions I asked her about the possible release date for the remaining
DCL 2017 itineraries and like others have mentioned it will probably be late March (like the previous year). I told her I was a little concerned since it's a possibility that I might be still on my cruise (it's a 12 day cruise) when the new DCL dates are released. She then told me to give her my wish list (which I did) and they would book my cruise (using their money) based on my cruise preferences and wish list and I could just reimburse them when I get back. They said they are doing this because I am a long-time loyal customer but I still thought it was very considerate of them.
