The lady behind me in the chechout line at the grocery store!!! She was practically IN my back pocket. Then she was right up DH'S butt when he was paying. ughh....

I'm annoyed today by my dd12's best friend's mom......I can take her friend everywhere with us out for lunch at Red Lobster , swimming, mall, etc. she flunts it in dd's face that her mom is taking her swimming tonight but my dd can't come along....I just got home from taking them around town shopping.... no more nice mom........

My best friend's sister is COMPLETELY annoying me today.

Warning: This will be long.

Today is my best friend's 30th birthday. I was planning a surprise party for earlier in the month. Just thought the timing would be better than this week, more people would be able to show, and as I'm getting ready to move, I didn't even know if I would be living in the same state as her this week.

Went thru a lot of how about this, and how about that's. Tried getting help from others in the area, but decided to go on my own when I didn't get any responses. Checked with her hubby and had a plan.

Emailed her sister to let her know the plan (sister and mom of friend both moved about 5 hours away from hometown). Well, they are taking all this vacation the week of her birthday and wanted to do a surprise party. Fine. Cancel plans, cancel hall I had reserved. Emailed a list to sister from bridal shower invites (that was another debacle. 3 days before the shower the sister hadn't ordered the cake like she said she would 2 weeks earlier).

I hear nothing else. Until last week I get a random forwarded email that said "Of course your address wasn't on that list. The pary is at 7".

That's it. I had to look back in the email to find the date and place. I have no idea if 7 is the surprise, or if that's when we're supposed to show up.

So, today is the actual day. I assumed that since they made a big deal out of the sis and the mom taking all this vacation they would have something big planned. Birthday girl wanted to go to a certain restaurant and do this grazing menu they have. Minimum of 4 people and like $35-40 per person. Fine by me she made a big deal out of my 30th earlier this year.

Asked her yesterday what the plan was. I ASSUMED her family would plan something. She said there weren't any. And, here's the kicker, her mom and sister took off to drive an hour and a half to have lunch with her old college roommates, on her sister's birthday. I found this out and called birthday girl's husband at work. Asked if he had any plans for her.

He didn't. He was told they were going to this restaurant and he'd be the only guy. So he decided to stay home. They didn't call me? Nope. Well, he gave them my number. They were also supposed to call me, he says, to get a recipe for biscuits and gravy because they wanted to make her "favorite" breakfast to serve her in bed this morning. They didn't call.

So, she and I are going to lunch and a movie. Which I know will be a good time.

I feel so bad because if I'd known she had nothing planned for today. If I would have known this I would have done something. But, like I said, she made a big deal out of taking all this vacation to spend the week and her birthday with her sister, and I just assumed they would have it planned.

Thanks for letting me vent. So, THAT'S who's annoying ME today!!!

Wow, I don't even know them and that irrittated me!!!

I am irritatted by people who pretend they are putting forth some kind of effort but aren't doing a darn thing. Don't tell my boss you are working on it or have been working on it. I am the only one working on it and now you have all been busted!

I was annoyed plenty today and I never got out of my jammies and slippers. Im home sick with the flu and a guy friend (dated him 2 times years ago but we remained friends) called today. I answer, he says I sound horrible and whats wrong. I tell him I have the flu and feel pretty crappy. He then says "oh......(short pause).....you want to go to dinner tonight?" I tell him no, I didn't go to work and I just broke my fever. He then says "Comeon, dinner will be good for you, what could one date harm?" Did I mention I have a boyfriend and it wasn't him? I was pretty annoyed. First because he asked me out knowing I have a boyfriend, and asking me out after I clearing told him I have the flu. Before the call ended, he said he would call later and see if I was feeling up to going to dinner then. He is a nice guy, but geez!

They are building a new house behind mine. My garage opens to the back of the house. There is an alley that runs behind the house. It is only wide enough for one car. This morning, a huge construction truck with one of those wide load signs comes down the alley to unload wood for the new house. In Florida, we have designated days when we can run our sprinkler systems. This was my day. My sprinkler system was running. The truck drove over my sprinkler heads and broke them off. They didn't bother to say anything to me. I just went out later and discovered them. Now, I will have water shooting out of the ground like geysers next time I use my sprinkler system. I called the construction company to complain. The girl that answered the phone said she'd pass on my message, but she didn't think they'd do anything about it. ARGH!

This is after I have spent days picking up trash that the workers toss down and let blow in my yard. They start work at 6am. Of course, they can't work without their radios on as high as possible. Nothing like Latin music at 6am!

I'll be really glad when those houses are done!
