So, who annoyed YOU today?

I'm annoying myself -- does that count? :rotfl2: I'm just tired of having health problems and I want them to just *poof* go away. :wizard:

I would be annoyed with someone like the starbucks lady. Have you ever been in a Panera? They have a counter where they'll set the trays and call out your name or number. There is always one person who will stand right at the counter with their nose at food level. :crazy2: Aww, man, stop breathing on the food!

Thanks, I'll try that. :)

CLR -- calcium, lime, rust. There's a similar product, but I'm not sure what it's called. They always work with a little elbow grease.

I think the other one is Lime Away - but don't inhale the fumes!

It wasn't a who, it was a what.

We are having above freezing temps here recently, so the roads are wet. This morning, on my way to work, the cars in front of me were throwing up disgusting salt water on my windshield. Of course, I then proceded to run out of washer fluid. By the time I was able to buy some, my windshield was just nasty.

DH - but I won't ever go there right now

My daughter's stupid dog. She pulled all the garbage out of the can all over my kitchen. And DD is still asleep.

Here it is, almost 1 PM, and no-one's bugged me yet! Of course, the boss took the day off...... :rotfl2:

I was driving in front of Home Depot, giving the right of way to a family of 4 carrying all sorts of things across the roadt and some car passed me on my left (apparently not seeing that I was letting people cross the street) and they had to slam on their brakes as to not hit the family crossing the street. Hello? Home Depot isn't a dragway, I just don't get why people drive like lunatics in parking lots.

The only one bugging me today is DS10 and that blasted "Fantasia" video. This is day 6 of school vacation and we have watched that show at leat 10 times already. If it wouldn't result in a major meltdown, I'd throw that video out in the yard!

Cathy--going upstairs to rewind "Fantasia" like a good Mommy

You are a GREAT Mommy, Cathy. And you are gaining detailed knowledge that can might be useful in a future Disney trivia game - you must know the movie by heart by now, eh?

My best friend's sister is COMPLETELY annoying me today.

Warning: This will be long.

Today is my best friend's 30th birthday. I was planning a surprise party for earlier in the month. Just thought the timing would be better than this week, more people would be able to show, and as I'm getting ready to move, I didn't even know if I would be living in the same state as her this week.

Went thru a lot of how about this, and how about that's. Tried getting help from others in the area, but decided to go on my own when I didn't get any responses. Checked with her hubby and had a plan.

Emailed her sister to let her know the plan (sister and mom of friend both moved about 5 hours away from hometown). Well, they are taking all this vacation the week of her birthday and wanted to do a surprise party. Fine. Cancel plans, cancel hall I had reserved. Emailed a list to sister from bridal shower invites (that was another debacle. 3 days before the shower the sister hadn't ordered the cake like she said she would 2 weeks earlier).

I hear nothing else. Until last week I get a random forwarded email that said "Of course your address wasn't on that list. The pary is at 7".

That's it. I had to look back in the email to find the date and place. I have no idea if 7 is the surprise, or if that's when we're supposed to show up.

So, today is the actual day. I assumed that since they made a big deal out of the sis and the mom taking all this vacation they would have something big planned. Birthday girl wanted to go to a certain restaurant and do this grazing menu they have. Minimum of 4 people and like $35-40 per person. Fine by me she made a big deal out of my 30th earlier this year.

Asked her yesterday what the plan was. I ASSUMED her family would plan something. She said there weren't any. And, here's the kicker, her mom and sister took off to drive an hour and a half to have lunch with her old college roommates, on her sister's birthday. I found this out and called birthday girl's husband at work. Asked if he had any plans for her.

He didn't. He was told they were going to this restaurant and he'd be the only guy. So he decided to stay home. They didn't call me? Nope. Well, he gave them my number. They were also supposed to call me, he says, to get a recipe for biscuits and gravy because they wanted to make her "favorite" breakfast to serve her in bed this morning. They didn't call.

So, she and I are going to lunch and a movie. Which I know will be a good time.

I feel so bad because if I'd known she had nothing planned for today. If I would have known this I would have done something. But, like I said, she made a big deal out of taking all this vacation to spend the week and her birthday with her sister, and I just assumed they would have it planned.

GRRRR

Thanks for letting me vent. So, THAT'S who's annoying ME today!!!

I don't know if I'm gaining useful Disney trivia, but if I ever decide to get a Music degree, I'm all set. :rotfl: How many times does one need to see "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" before they are declared legally insane?

This thread is beginning to annoy me. :)

Nah, got off my tuchus, scrubbed the cat hair out from the crevices on the stairs, got showered and walked 2 1/2 miles to the sushi restaurant, and walked back. Feel better now? :)

Yes, thank you.

My step uncle and step grampa. Not only did they arrive at my house the same day that we got back from my real grandparents' but they arrived early so they were here by the time we got back

The cat wants to know where you put his/her sushi.

the really loud family in the waiting room of my DD's orthadontist annoyed me today. It was a mom and 2 teens. One teen had some sort of music device, about the size of a gameboy, and he was playing it without headphones. All 3 of them were talking so loudly I had a headache by the time they left

Right now, she seems to be very interested in my popcorn.
