So Where Will You Be Vacationing This Summer?

We're having some family visit us this summer, so there will be some day trips to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg and Paramount's King's Dominion.

Our BIG trip is to WDW in August!

We're staying at Sandals Negril. We went there 2 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the resort.

Remind me in a couple months to pick your mind on the Outer Banks, ok? We're thinking of doing a big family vacation (with all my siblings and spouses, etc.) and Outer Banks has been brought up as a place to do it.

Steve this will be my 23erd year at the Outer Banks! Ask away! I have been going there since I was 14!

When DD was 2 she was not sleeping well (not that she does now either!) so I went for a drive to get her to fall asleep. I was cruising along the way I used to when I was 16, 17 etc. and started thinking "here I am 32 cruising in my minivan w/ my baby and she started laughing"!

One suggestion: Check out Kitty Dunes Reality.com. You can see a map, look at different locations and get a feel for what type of rental home you are looking for.

At least you can get general feel for the Outer Banks. This is a good reality with a great website.

Man, lots of people are going to Hawaii – I’m jealous! That’s my favorite place in the world. This is my WDW year. I went in November and May, and I’m going back in August and October. I’m trying to establish a pattern of getting an annual pass every other year and going to WDW two or three times that year. Then the next year I’ll go other places. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to stick with that though – can’t imagine staying away from WDW for a year. There are many other places I want to go, but I just feel so comfortable at WDW, especially since I usually travel solo. Love tropical locations, but they wouldn't be much fun alone.

I'm going to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for the July 4 weekend. doing Dollywood and Splash Country. Then I'm going outlet mall shopping.

I have a Six Flags and White Water Season Pass so that mean many trips to Atlanta for one -day trips.

We just returned from a whirlwind trip through Michigan; across the UP to St Ignace / Mackinac City/Bridge (big thumbs up for the Holiday Inn Express in St Ignace), Frankenmuth and visiting many relatives. We went home through Chicago last Friday and spent about five hours at the Museum of Science & Industry and about 2 hours on the outbound Kennedy "Expressway".
