So Where Will You Be Vacationing This Summer?

Just curious to find out if/where everyone will be headed for their summer vacation. Living very close to the Jersey Shore, I always meet tons of people that are vacationing here. So go ahead, feel free to share where your going or what you are planning to do to have FUN IN THE SUN this summer.

As for me, my DH's family (mom, dad, brother, sil, aunt, uncle, cousins and families, DH and myself -- 17 in all), will be renting a beach house -- 2 separate units -- in Ocean City, NJ for 2 weeks. We leave on June 28th & are staying until July 12th. You should see the place that we have (had the same one the last 2 years) -- it's right on the beach, at the quiet end, with a very nice balcony that is just perfect for sitting out on to read, relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean!

We're saving it all for WDW in November. Actually, I don't enjoy summer travel. I have always preferred to vacation in the fall. I grew up near Asbury Park and Belmar, and spent every day on the beach as a kid. All beached out now.

We will be vacationing in Lake George NY for the 4th of July weekend and WDW in august.

No vacation this Summer. That's OK with us though as we just did DL in April and will be going again early next year as well. We'll probably just take a couple of long weekends during the rest of the year to get out of town and relax a bit.

Just a short 4 day trip to Michigan, other than that, no plans. I kind of wish I had a big trip to look forward to so I could plan (I love planning).

this Summer as I am working 6 days a week. I have to TRAIN someone to take OVER for me, if I want to go anywhere. So, maybe I can get away for ONE day in August for the MISSION:Space Soft Opening, but, I haven't made ressies as yet.

My DH has a toy show in Tulsa Oklahoma I know that doesn't sound as good as some of the other places meantioned but we will be getting there by way of teh Mall of America. Hopefully we will see the St Louis ARchway on the way up.
