I get into MCO around 10:00 am. I am meeting KarenNY for a ride to WDW. After check-in, I'm heading to one of the parks. I think I'll be ready to play around 12:30-1:00 pm. Where are you going to be? Anyone want to meet up somewhere?
If my room is available when I arrive, I may just relax for a few hours (got to get some use out of that jacuzzi). I don't have anything planned until dinner at the WL.
I'll be somewhere in the air over the United States, relaxing in my cushy first class airline seat (thank you frequent flyer miles), eating, hopefully, a decent meal with my fingers because I won't have a knife to cut with and wishing I was already at WDW.
Barb: I will be ready to play too. I intend to be at the Magic Kingdom. No trip for me starts before I set my feet on Main Street. I will probably too tired for that on Monday. I am planning to spend the day at MK before heading to Whispering Canyons.
I won't even be on the plane yet. My first flight leave here at 4pm Florida Time. My connecting flight leaves SLC at about the time you guys will be sitting down to dinner at WC. So I guess I will be flying while you are visiting resorts and having christmas fun.
Do not, I repeat, Do not attempt to eat the gingerbread houses. They are for display only. And no climbing the trees.
I arrive just after 1pm, so 2pm should find me checking in. Right after that, I may head
over to EPCOT or Beaches and Cream for lunch (doubt that we'll get ANY food on the plane)
I'm staying at the Yacht Club, Ray. I will look for you around the Airtran baggage claim. Who knows-maybe we'll meet then!
Like Livia, we always start our WDW trip in the MK. So there's a good chance that's where I'll be. I will probably be starving by then, too. I thought about just sitting by the pool and taking a nap, but I know I'll be too wired to just sit. So, most likely, you'll find me in the MK.
Barb, If I have any more traffic jams like yesterday, I'm guessing I'll be just entering Florida. Hopefully, I will be already in my hotel room and ready to play. Whoo Hoo!
No, Dayna, unfortunately, we have yet to be bitten by the laptop bug. We've talked about it many times, but it's one of those purchases that keeps escaping us. Something else always comes up. I will have my cell phone with me, if that helps. (I just have to remember to turn it on!) If you'd like the number, PM or email me and I'll give it to you.
Hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly.
Me too, Barb and Livia. MK is the best. Just wait until you see it at night. I'll be hungry, too. There is a very nice boat launch ride from MK to WL that afternoon to dinner
Would anyone be interested in meeting up to watch the parade at 3:00? I'd say we could meet earlier for lunch, but I wouldn't have a clue as to a time. What if the flights don't arrive on time, or it takes a while to check in, etc? I would think by 3:00 we should all be in the MK. How about in front of Liberty Tree Tavern? I'll probably stand around there anyhow, so if you're in the area, look for the totally exhausted tall lady covered in lime green ribbons!
I'll be at the Saturn dealership getting my oil changed (well actually my car's oil).
BTW - For all you folks (myself included) who do not have internet access while at WDW, there are internet terminals sprinked around the hotels. I know of one in the Contemporary that has my fingerprints on it (as well as a few of my dollars in it). It's a quick way to get a DIS fix and check up on your PMs.
