So, when did you get your FINAL cabin assignment?

all of our cruises (done or booked) we have requested at time of bookin for a specific room and have gotten that room for all 3 cruises. we like to book 15 months in advance (which kills us in the waiting of course) but we get the room we want and get a low price.

We booked a cat.12 in March 04 with Disney and was given a GTY room status and we checked our reservations weekly on Disney web site and in July we were upgraded to a cat.10 and thats when they gave us our room number . But I've talked to others that was assigned a room number and when they got to port they had been upgraded again, I guess it all depends on how full the ship is close to sailing. TJHUTCH

We booked cat 6 GTY and received our documnets with room assignments 4 days before. No upgrades and our room was fine. I thought we had a good chance of getting upgraded but the boat was full. Next time I will take the room up front. I also heard after the fact most upgrages are from cat 9, 10 & 11.
