so what's this I hear about a hurricane?

my 13 year old calls me on her cell phone tonight, she's in Six Flags America with her camp group. she tells me they had to shut down the rides because of a thunderstorm...and she's hiding in a store because "the hurricane" is coming...

I heard it went out to see and was done. They were predicting good surfing here because of it though.
