So what's the deal with Mickey Waffles?

They seem to be famous here on the boards. So what's the deal, other then them being shaped like Mickey? Are they really that good??

And are the ones at Sleepy Hollow at MK, the same, just bigger??

The ones we got form the Mara at the AKL were freshly made and theye were delicious!

I didn't think they were all that...had them at a couple of different buffets and thought OK, tastes like waffles. And yes, have had them fresh (first seating when breakfast started so everything was fresh & hot.)

They're plenty cute, of course...and fun to eat...(who doesn't like Mickey-shaped food) but they just tasted like plain old waffles to me.

I personally thought they were amazing, some of the best waffles I've ever had. Then again, I am a college student and the waffles I'm used to are the ones you make yourself in the dining hall so that may have something to do with it. Either way, I say go for it and eat ears first!

We had them last time we were there and other than being fun because they were Mickey shaped they were the same as normal waffles. A lot of places you can get some really good toppings to put on them like a yummy strawberry sauce!

Thsi pretty much sums it up. I am not much of a waffle fan though. DS who is 7 LOVES them. They are cute but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.

They're not any different from any other type of waffle. The fascination apparently does come from the fact that they are shaped like Mickey.
