3 years ago we left home in the middle of the afternoon and drove all night. Reached Disney at 8am the next day. We were staying at the Art of Animation resort and they let us go ahead and check into our room. I was shocked but happy that they let us check in that early. This time we are staying at the Caribbean Beach resort and may drive all night again which means we will be arriving early in the morning. What is the chance of getting an early check in again

I believe its 6am when the res system becomes a new day. Once we transferred at 7:30 before heading to the parks are the room was ready. Another time we tried 10a and it wasn't. It all depends if any rooms left over from day before or get cleaned early enough.

Good Luck

Trishadono is correct that you can check in as early as 6 am, as that's when the computers roll over for the day. Your room might not be ready at that time, but you are able to check in. Have a great trip! :wizard:

Just offer to take what ever they have available. It worked for me at POFQ this past June around 8:30 in the morning, and I got a late check out the next day. Sweet!

We checked into CBR at 10 a.m last year. We made record time on our drive down. We were in EPCOT by 1 instead of 7!

I would specify your expected arrival time and do online checkin so they know you will be arriving early. Of course if they are fully booked the night before then it's not likely to be ready that early.

Probably easiest in slower seasons. However, on a Memorial Day weekend trip, we had reserved two units at OKW and were able to check into the GV at 8:00 am. The studio was not ready yet, but it was still a pleasant surprise.

You can check in any time after 6am on your arrival day.
I would suggest doing online check in and opting to make your room being ready early the priority.
It may or may not be ready but it gives you a better chance.

That weekend will be the end of F&W, plus Veterans Day. And maybe the end of Jersey Week. Rooms could be full.

You can always do the checkin process as early as 6. If there's a room open by then (would likely mean it was empty the night before) you would get it. If not, or if you have requests that that room does not fulfill, you would get it later. But anyone can do the checkin process.

Like others have said, you can check in, but your room may or may be be ready. You can have bell services hold your bags (if you didn't want to leave them in the car), and then check out the parks or whatever. They will text you when your room is ready (if it wasn't when you checked in).

We went last week of September, checked in to Pop at 6:30 expecting to just check in, go to the park and receive the text. Nope, our room was ready. We were so surprised, all we did was drop off our luggage, walk across the parking lot and hopped on the bus. Got to rope drop in plenty of time.

Possible...but the earliest we've received a room was 10 a.m. The last trip, it wasn't until 3 p.m. (which is technical check-in time). We also drive through the night, so I completely understand wanting it to be ready as soon as possible. It all just depends on the situation at the resort when you arrive and there's no way of knowing what that will be. I hope it works out for you though!

I have actually had a DVC villa ready for check-in at 6:30AM. We got to AKL after a one night crash at Saratoga Springs (got to Orlando at midnight) and drove to AKL the next morning and checked in. We just wanted to drop our luggage but our room was ready. We dropped our bags in the room and were at MK for our PPO BOG breakfast.

However, I think this is much more the exception than the rule.

In June this year, we arrived to check in at 8:30am and the room we requested with the touringplans fax was ready for us. I did put early check in as the request though. We unloaded the car and hit the parks!
