When we went I think it was 2 years ago? They had opened Shrek- and were building Mummy!
So we are excited for Mummy but what else is new at the Universal? Oh and how scary is Mummy?

Let's see...at the Studios they've redone Earthquake into Disaster!, ROTM as you said and The Simpsons should open any time now. At IOA, they've opened the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride.

The next two years are the biggies with Harry Potter opening in late 2009 or mid 2010 at IOA and RRR coaster opening at the Studios next spring.

Should be lots of fun.

If you're curious about how scary The Mummy is, you can find it on youtube. Type "universal orlando mummy" and a few videos will pop up. I don't know how people held onto their cameras! It looks ridiculously awesome. I can't wait!!!!!

I knew we rode ROTM on our first trip in spring, 2005, so I looked it up and apparently it opened in May, 2004.

So you're really looking at what is new in the past 4 years.
