You know I honestly have no idea. I was just sitting here thinking about that. We have some hamburgers and italian sausage left from the 4th and I think I might just warm those up.
DH has band practice at 6:30 and my 14 year old is going to work at 6:30 so it has to be something quick. Yep thats it left overs and chips!
How do you cook those? I have always wanted to try them.
We are having cream of broccoli soup. I was supposed to be on jury duty today, but the trial was cancelled, so I went hope for a couple of hours before I went to work. While I was home I made the soup, did a couple of loads of laundry, watered and pruned my plants and picked up some of the kids' toys. So now I will have a clean house and dinner made when I get home - almost if I had a Mrs. Cleaver at home.
Nothing! I have to leave work, go to the eye Dr. and pick up my glasses and then pick up a friend and go to a Scrapbooking class. There will not be time for dinner anywhere in there. I'm thinking ice cream later will have to make up for it.
It's kind of a take off on one of MIL's recipes ("delicious chicken"), only I HATE cherries, so I don't put them in mine. I have a FABULOUS chicken recipe (not this one, I've never made this one before, but I enjoy playing with recipes). If anyone wants it, just pm me.
Chicken enchiladas here. DH commented the other day I haven't made them for a while and he really likes them. I happened to remember that while shopping the other day. He seemed quite excited when he figured out I was making them tonight. He's such a sweetie....
I'm just improvising with this one (I didn't get the recipe from a book, so I don't mind posting it ). I'm going to take frozen chicken tenderloins (between a 1/2 pound and a pound) and put them in a square glass pan, dump some pineapple chunks on them and pour some sweet honey catalina dressing on top. Then, I'll cover it with tinfoil and bake it at 350 until I can smell it (probably about 30 minutes or so). I'll post after dinner with specifics on times and how it was. Just making white rice and a pillsbury loaf to go with it (it's hard to find sides for sweet main dishes).
Chicken and rice. It takes 5 minutes to put together. Cooks in abt. 45 minutes. Heat up a can of green beans and butter a few slices of bread. Tasty dinner with minimal dishes to wash.
