I am making hamburger's and hot dog's on the grill, corn on the cob, and baked beans! :thumbsup2

You know I honestly have no idea. I was just sitting here thinking about that. We have some hamburgers and italian sausage left from the 4th and I think I might just warm those up.
DH has band practice at 6:30 and my 14 year old is going to work at 6:30 so it has to be something quick. Yep thats it left overs and chips!

Well I know we're having sloppy-joes but I don't know what's going with them.

Cornish game hens. They were on sale, and it's just me and my two boys tonight! They call them mini-clucks.

We're having crock pot stew. My kids are not impressed.

How do you cook those? I have always wanted to try them.

We are having cream of broccoli soup. I was supposed to be on jury duty today, but the trial was cancelled, so I went hope for a couple of hours before I went to work. While I was home I made the soup, did a couple of loads of laundry, watered and pruned my plants and picked up some of the kids' toys. So now I will have a clean house and dinner made when I get home - almost if I had a Mrs. Cleaver at home.

Chicken and pineapple chunks cooked in honey catalina dressing and rice (DH's request) :)

Nothing! I have to leave work, go to the eye Dr. and pick up my glasses and then pick up a friend and go to a Scrapbooking class. There will not be time for dinner anywhere in there. I'm thinking ice cream later will have to make up for it.

We are having pan-fried perch and some steak fries. Fresh caught right out of the lake. Yummmmmmm!!

I've never had that- but it sure sounds scrumptious! :thumbsup2

It's kind of a take off on one of MIL's recipes ("delicious chicken"), only I HATE cherries, so I don't put them in mine. :teeth: I have a FABULOUS chicken recipe (not this one, I've never made this one before, but I enjoy playing with recipes). If anyone wants it, just pm me. :)

DH's having left overs and the only thing I'm in the mood for is fresh strawberry shortcake and I'll think that's what I'll have.

There are so many yummy looking dishes here!

Would you mind posting the recipies for the cornish game hens? I've always wanted to try them but didn't have a clue how tho fix them.

And could we get the recipie for the chicken and pineapple chunks cooked in honey catalina dressing and rice?

Thanks.

Tonight's menu is Spaghetti Pie, Caeser salad and garlic bread!! - DS(16) request!! :goodvibes

You're not from MN/WI, are you? Sounds like something we would do :)

Chicken enchiladas here. DH commented the other day I haven't made them for a while and he really likes them. I happened to remember that while shopping the other day. He seemed quite excited when he figured out I was making them tonight. He's such a sweetie....

For us - we are hitting the grocery store on the way home, so who knows. I am in the mood for BLT's, pasta salad and chips.

I'm just improvising with this one (I didn't get the recipe from a book, so I don't mind posting it :) ). I'm going to take frozen chicken tenderloins (between a 1/2 pound and a pound) and put them in a square glass pan, dump some pineapple chunks on them and pour some sweet honey catalina dressing on top. Then, I'll cover it with tinfoil and bake it at 350 until I can smell it (probably about 30 minutes or so). I'll post after dinner with specifics on times and how it was. :) Just making white rice and a pillsbury loaf to go with it (it's hard to find sides for sweet main dishes).

Spaghetti- I need to mop my floor anyways :rotfl2: .

Chicken and rice. It takes 5 minutes to put together. Cooks in abt. 45 minutes. Heat up a can of green beans and butter a few slices of bread. Tasty dinner with minimal dishes to wash.
