Disney pretty much conceded evening night club activities to Universal CityWalk. And CityWalk has turned it up a notch this week with the opening of a Fat Tuesday bar featuring frozen slushee-type alcoholic drinks. I've posted a picture of the place and the impressive drink menu at: www.savepleasureisland.blogspot.com.

CanadianGuy, great to have you returning back to Florida. I hope we can warm the weather up for you! It's been a crappy winter!

They used to have Fat Tuesday's in Church Street Station downtown. Back in the early 90's it was a huge hit. The line was out the door!

I've heard that. There was a bit of a line this past Saturday night at the one at CityWalk and it was still kind of cold out there. When the warmer weather hits this place is going to have huge lines! Can't wait to try out the one made with Everclear pure grain alcohol! And some jello shots off the dollar menu, lol.

LOL....yes, I stuck with one and it was delicious. I went with the pina colada. Biggest problem was these things are SOOO cold, it gave me a brain freeze and stomach freeze!

I think Fat Tuesday could canibilize drink sales from the other clubs.

Yes, Carl and Yvette, the French Canadian maid (or sometimes the esteemed club president). Lately I have seen her pushing Remy around in Chefs.
Saw Carl not long ago in UK as a performer.

That's right, I remember her as Pamelia the last time we were there.

Carl is one of the World Showcase Players, who can be seen in the UK and Italy at times.

well for the record bob, I don't believe anything you post anymore. I have a friend who used to work at Disney who knows someone who still works at Disney who says those mannequins pictures you posted were fake! I just can't believe your pictures are legit anymore

LOL. One person told me he was going to personally BREAK IN to Mannequins just to prove the dance floor is not there. I encouraged him NOT to do anything as stupid as that.

I wish I could reveal my sources of the pictures from inside Mannequins & Motion. Can't do that though.

I posted a source-based rumor last month that comedy would be returning to Pleasure Island. What, where or when I don't know. The CW building remains basically blocked off and unused but supposedly is one of the former club builidings that is not going to be torn down.
