I figured we've all heard enough of evil state Governors, kids gone joyriding and parents against peanuts. So this weekend, maybe, with just a little bit of I can have a quiet weekend of disconnecting from technology and reading out on my porch. And a big pitcher of margaritas to go along with it! So, what are your plans?

Hubby just called me he bought a $2 scratch ticket and won $300...wooohooo. Normally I am not a fan of the lotto but when he wins I am a fan lol...he said he would take me out to dinner

Then tomorrow our son (who will be 4 next week) has his first soccer game...should be pretty entertaining lol

Nothing exciting, I am making wedding invitations for one of my friends and I HAVE to get them finished this weekend, so that should take up a good portion of my time.

Well tonight, DD and her friend are going to a school dance then have a sleepover here. then tomorrow, even though weather looks not great, take her, her friend and another friend to Busch Gardens so they can ride scary rides.

Tomorrow I am taking my husband for a Lasik consultation and then we will get dinner and gelato at the (fancy) mall near the dr's office. Kinda fun... once you get past the medical part

I'll be beating my head against the wall. DS(16) spring breaks starts and all his friends are going somewhere..and I mean all...we can't even pull off a visit to his sister at college 'casue her break was 2 weeks ago. It's cold, the forecast stinks until you guessed it, 10 days from now when break is over. I'll escape his sulking for a bit at work , but I am part time and as luck would have it only working 2 days this week. Even his swim practice is cancelled since his coach and rest of team will be gone. I hate being broke, saving for college and a DH who has to take his time off over Christmas.

Have seen the movie and gone to play twice and ROFL each time!!!

Not much ~ catch up on R&R. Will attend DGS's Rugby game tonight. Have enjoyed watching our grands all week while DD&SIL were on cruise, so am ready to sleep in a little later tomorrow!!!

Earlier this week I gave DH the choice between us cleaning the basement or doing taxes this weekend. He chose the basement, then promptly signed up to direct at a fencing tournament all day Saturday. He also tells me he wants to spend several hours installing new cable stuff with our TV.

So, I guess it's just me cleaning the basement.

I took a 3 day weekend this weekend because my dd and my 2 grandson's were coming down. Then last week, she FINALLY got an interview at a bank she has been trying to find employment with. So, she had to postpone

So, I cleaned house today, went to the grocery store, ran some errands and bought a book I have been dying to read. Wishing Tangled came out on DVD today instead of TUES.

I plan on staying in my pj's tomorrow, reading my book and whatever else I feel like the lazy me can handle. Not much I hope! I bought a bunch of frozen pizza's and hotpockets for the teen boys...they should be good!

DD and I are going to Detroit for her dance competion - Nexstar.

DH and DS are staying home. DH will be popping motrin and leaning on the heating pad trying to reduce his pain from his kidney stone. DS will be catering to his dads needs. I will be thanking the stars that I am in Detroit. DH doesn't do pain very well.
