So what venues require ADRS at the 180 day mark?

I'm still playing with my itinerary (and who am I kidding; I'll be tinkering with it up to the point where I get on the plane to fly home), but I'm just curious as to what dining venues are likely to be snapped up early?

Additional information: I have a BB the second week in Dec. It is likely going to be during free dining, but I will not have FD. (With only 2 going, the BB discount on a room at a deluxe was better than the FD.) FD used to mean restaurants filled up fast, but now that mods and values just get QS, maybe that's changed.

Under consideration are Boma, Sanaa, Jiko, Hacienda de San Angel, Cape May (dinner), Tokyo dining, BOG lunch, Spice Road Table, Flying Fish

BOG lunch is probably the only one of those that REALLY requires a 180 day ADR.

Boma and Sanaa get booked up pretty quickly, but I've been able to get ADRs at both well into the 180 day period (you just have to be flexible with times you'll eat in some instances - perhaps earlier dinner or later breakfast). It's not on your list but I have even gotten CRT well inside the 180 day window.

Haven't had any issues with Hacienda or Spice road either.

I have never tried to book Cape May, Jiko, Tokyo or FF.

It also may be dependent on when you are traveling. Our trips are late June through July 4th.

I'm going down in 10 days and just got BOG lunch yesterday, just by checking the app a few times throughout the day. I also saw dinner there show up a few times in the last few weeks but I was more interested in the lunch menu. You can also use the touring plans reservation finder, which will automatically text you when/if something comes up. (I used it successfully to get le Cellier and Narcoossee's less than 30 days out from my trip).

I've booked la Hacienda the day of and literally 30 minutes before my desired dining time (6:00) and been fine, but if you want to eat there for Illuminations, you'll need to book in advance.

I have also reserved Sanaa dinner the day of without a problem, and there was plenty of open seating when we arrived so I requested a window for the savannah view.

I was able to have my pick of times for Jiko dinner and Boma breakfast within the past week.

Truthfully, I have been able to get all the place I want less than 180 days, including some within a few weeks of a trip.

For this list, I know I have seen most of these when I am within weeks of my trip as being available. I would say that the hardest might be BOG Lunch or if you want a specific time for Hacienda. The others should be quite easy to get closer to your trip, especially with the use of the touring plans restaurant finder.

Since, I had my Disney Experience open to check pictures from my recent trip, I decided to do a quick search for tomorrow for 4 people for Dinner. From your list these were available tomorrow night:

Boma 6:45 8:10
Sanaa 5:15 8:35
Jiko 7:50 8:10
Hacienda 6:15 7:30
Cape May 6:05 7:10
Tokyo 5:40 7:00

For BOG for lunch, I would try that one longer out or use the touring plans restaurant finder since that seems to be the busiest I have seen the lines to get in.

In reality, if you know where you want to dine, get an ADR. At 180 days, the order in which you reserve them probably doesn't make a great deal of difference. However, I always book the ones I want the most first and then go through my list.

Only Sundays with ADRs 10:00 to 1:00. I wish I had read reviews and seen photos of it when I started planning our trip. When I first saw $80 per person, I thought, “we’re not paying that for one meal,” but then weeks later, I saw a review on EasyWDW that I shared with my travel mates.

We all think it looks like something truly deluxe, and with an AP discount and bottomless mimosas, we think it looks like a good value for us. I myself could easily put back 4 mimosas.

There are several that would be very hard to get into without a ADR done around the 180, Ohana, BOG, CG Brunch, Chef mickey dinner, or atleast at decent times. Sometimes you can get lucky if your persistent and check every day several times a day.

What I have done in the past is make a rough draft plan and book what I want at the 180 day mark. Then I just make adjustments as I change things. Then if I cannot make the change, I decide whether the dining or a smooth plan is more important. I usually go with the smooth plan.
