do on a typical Saturday? If there is anything typical about it. I woke up at 5'ish. Went to Wally world by 5:30 came back, everyone else still sleeping. So I made ribs and rice, cleaned up and now am off to wash my hair.;)And yep all while on boards. :surfweb: What about you? (meant to say "what time do you get up", in the title portion)

Woke up by 6 (got to sleep in - woo hoo!), walked and fed the dogs, fed the rabbit and cleaned her cage, and have now watched 3 episodes of Little House on the Prairie.

:cool1:

Soon I'll shower and run to the Farmer's Market. :cloud9:

Wake up around 7am and go for a walk/jog and then come back and eat a bowl of shredded wheat with skim milk and a banana. Take a shower, tube feed my sleeping daughter and just spend some quiet time either praying and/or studying, going over bills, getting ready for any outings for the day, etc.

Today, my DH has to work which he rarely has to on the weekends. I am taking my daughter to see NATM2 and we will most likely get lunch at Chickfila and she will play for an hour or two.

We have a futon bunkbed and chest of drawers that we no longer use, over to a friend from church.

Some housework, play some board games with my daughter, help her clean her room. Tubefeedings through out the day, breathing treatments, pullup changes, etc. Reading books and coloring with her, etc.

Making meatloaf for dinner with mac and cheese and stringbeans and Meg and I are going to make a yellow cake with chocolate icing for Father's Day.

You just asked for the morning and I went into the whole day....:rotfl::upsidedow

I usually wake up by 7, try to tell myself to go back to sleep, and give up around 7:15.

Usually I hangout while the house is quiet, make breakfast, clean, watch some TV. If it's nice outside, I'll try to go out for a walk or visit the Farmer's Market.

Preeeety boring. :)

Usually up around 6 am, cruise the Internet while drinking my coffee, shower the off to golf (leaving in a couple minutes for a 10:00 tee time). When I get home I have to get to the store and get the last minute stuff DD needs for basketball camp this week then I will watch the rest of the Open on TV.

Typically on a Saturday in the summer we get up, clean the house, go golf.

No two saturdays look alike in our house. We rarely have a whole saturday free to do what we want but the mornings are usually open.
We try to fit housework and yardwork in then. But generally speaking, I get up earlier than dh so I spend some time just surfing the net and enjoying myself.

Saturdays during the school year are nuts because Saturdays are usually devoted to sports games of some sort. Right now, it's summer..so yay, nothing!!!

Normally, we would go to the pool, but weekends have been super nuts lately. I don't know if membership is up or just more people are around this summer than usual..or what. But I almost avoid weekends at the pool now. Add in that it will be around 100 today..with a heat index of 110..omg...I am not going anywhere NEAR the pool today. I bought about 500 water balloons today so the kids and I will have a water balloon fight in the backyard instead. And yes, they do pick up the pieces too. I only fill up about 100 at a time, then we do a quick clean up and do it all over again..otherwise, I WON'T fill up more. :cool1:

Editing to say I am usually up between 6:30-7:30.

Sleep in til 9, go to work at 10... dis.

Our Saturdays are pretty much the same every weekend. Get up at 5 to feed the cats, go back to bed til 7 or 8, get up eat breakfast (usually cereal, toast, and coffee) then check my email and boards while breakfast settles. After a shower, we head to the Petsmart to stock up on supplies for the week and visit the cat adoptions (we foster for them) and then to Red Robin for lunch.

Saturdays during the school year, I am usually up around 730a.m. DD has ballet on most saturdays so I'm up getting her ready so that we can be there by 9a.m. Then we stop for breakfast after ballet, then do any shopping in town that we need to do, then it's home to clean, do laundry, hang out, or go somewhere (we love to go to amusement parks, museums, etc).

This past Saturday I got up at 830a.m. (that's sleeping in for me), put some laundry in to wash, had a shower, cruised the internet, put the mail out, cleaned up areas around the house that needed it, and waited for DD to get up. Then we head out after she's had breakfast to get errands done.

I generally work on Saturdays but get up a little later, around 7 am and start working a little later, around 9 instead of 8... office is much quieter on the weekends so I choose to work then.

Saturday afternoons tend to be chore time, trip to the dump, work outside if it's nice, then pizza and salad or chinese take-out for dinner and a movie. Of course, everything depends on weather. On the real nice days, we beach it and go for frozen mudslides and foot long dogs (for the kids) at the local beachside restaurant.

Bolding mine. Do you know how jealous I am that you have a Red Robin? There used to be one near by, but they closed about 10 years ago. But I loved that place, I would go there so often as a kid that the entire waitstaff knew me, and knew my order. They all knew what I was going to order before I even sat down. Every birthday, celebration, we would go to Red Robin if they let me pick the place. One time, a few years after they closed, I went to a diner for breakfast, and all of a sudden, this waiter comes running up to me repeating my order from Red Robin, yep, he was my favorite waiter, and whenever he saw me coming into the restaurant, he would always tell the hostess to seat me in his section.

I did go to Red Robin once last year, but it was about 2 hours away. Food tasted the same though :thumbsup2

As for me, I got up around 9, still in my PJ's. Didn't eat breakfast yet. My dog is still asleep, my mom walked her around 7, and then she made her way into this little basket that my baby dolls used to sleep in, and she's snoring away.
