I voted per Roy's instructions.
That just sounds so strange to me - and other posts similar to it. It's as if you need someone to tell you how to vote or what your opinion is.
I voted, and, coincidentally, voted to withold for the same board members as Roy.
I was also wondering if the people who "voted per Roy's instructions" (and other similarly worded posts) read the whole proxy statement and the bios of the board members and such, or if they voted with Roy simply because he's Roy. In our office, those who have voted against the board's recommendations are about equally split between those who read the material and voted that way because it agreed with their personal position and those who didn't read anything, just voted that way because Roy did. One person said, "I've never read the proxy statement before, and once I did, I realized that most of what I believed was the same as what Roy and Stanley are pushing." Another said, "I don't have to read it ... Roy's last name is 'Disney' and that's enough for me."Originally posted by KNWVIKING
"I voted per Roy's instructions and I......"
".....and voted online per Roy Disney's recommendation"
".....I voted per Roy's instructions."
I don't care how people voted..... don't even know what Roy's "instructions" were. Just sounds very strange.
Nah ... I'll just go back to work.Originally posted by Goofyposter
Soooo......WD and Chuck....are you two gonna get together for a party if the status quo is maintained?
