Good God, this thread makes me feel like I have found my people...
We have all the Resort TV loops on our Roku and watch them at night to fall asleep to when we're home.
Yes! Your feet hurt, you're damp and gritty, everyone around you looks like the walking dead, and you climb aboard a frigid bus and sit under those glaring lights as everyone gets to their seats...it's terrible, but it's wonderful. It's one of those moments when I feel most connected with the rest of the hoard of guests.
As soon as the warm, humid air hits me as we're getting off the plane at MCO, I'm elated!
The buses. I can never not be happy on the buses. Whether I'm coming or going, I sit there and soak it all in!
I love watching (and participating in) the excitement of being on our way to a park - especially the first trip. I love the sounds - especially coming back to POR. My DD and I also love the part in the safety announcement about not eating, drinking, or smoking and taking small children by the hand. We always try to beat the announcement "No smoking!" I say then she says "No eating or drinking!" Then before we disembark, I always take her by the hand. Even though she's 12 and almost as tall as me.
The "bing bong" noise the doors on the monorail make when they are ready to open/close
