I had to look it up: Post about triggering the motion / heat sensing thermostats of BCV by releasing the mickey balloons in the room at night......

The sensor needs a combination of a heat source and motion. If your going to try the big mylar balloons,you'll need to stop at Walmart & pick up a cheap hampster. Tie the balloon string around a rear foot,let the little sucker squirm around all nite while it floats around the room and you sleep at a comfortable temp. If that don't work, try a guinne pig and two balloons.

The thread where Rich used one-liners to 'complement' the BWV was a classic. I loved some of his attempts to complement without criticizing:

You may not have to waste any time in the gym, the walks to your room could suffice. I hear that the BWV hallways are used to train for the WDW marathon.

BWV windows have very clear glass!!

I have never heard of even one elevator accident at BWV!

OK it wasn't on the DVC board, but there was a post on the Cruise Line Board a couple of months ago about a woman who used scrubbing bubbles to wash her hair. Everyone chimed in with similar stories. I was LOL for days. It's worth a search...it may even be humerous to some of us highly evolved, brilliant DVC types (we made the decision to buy the world's best timeshare after all )

Richyams are the best also. I bet he's a quiteriot!!

The thread about people's garbage was good also. I don't enjoy seeing garbage myself, but there were many strong opinions.

I think the funniest post ever was in the trip reports from a guy whos baby turned into a human poop machine a @ MK.

It's not DVC, but there is a hilarious thread going on over on the Resort Board about shock, awe and nakedness at the Dolphin. That has to be one of the funniest I have ever read!

I agree with many of you that Richyams cracks me up when he talks about the size of BWV, as my mane says I'm an OKW person like he is. My favorite was during his description of one towel cleans everything and you can stand in the middle of the kitchen and clean everywhere, but what really cracked me up is when he said you can sit on the balcony and reach in and get a beer out of the refrigerator.

I just found a new one. Over on the trip planning board there is a poster who ventured out to her balcony while at Swan/Dolphin, and saw a naked couple engaged in all sorts of activities. The various replies were very funny, included the smilies that Nick and Cindy managed to find! It has occured to me that this promise of nightly balcony entertainment viewing may yet convince DH that another trip to Mickey IS a good idea...

I saw that thread, but it's closed now. And I had such a great smiley for it too!

I thought the one about the Circle at BCV was funny especially when someone posted that at 9:00 it's a meditation circle and amazingly lasers and fireworks appear!!!!

I also thought Maistre Gracey's comment about toilet paper on the "Flip it over" thread was hysterical. I still giggle when I think of that one!!!!!

The Rumors/News board has a thread where a poster said the first purchase with their Disney Visa was to...ahem....shall we say 'enhance' his wife.

I recall a thread, don't know where exactly, but it was very funny and very involved regarding travel directions within WDW property. I recall someone mentioning that you do pass at least 5 Tower of Terror signs when leaving MK. I could identify!!

JMHILLRPH_that car washing resembles my DH!! After driving from NY he truely enjoys being able to wash the car. It is funny, if you think about it --or else very annoying if you are married to it!
