So what is different at the Crsytal Palace?

CP was closed in December when we were last there and I was wondering what has changed since they reopened. It has always been one of my favorites and we want to have lunch there on our next trip. Does it look any different? Have they changed the menus? Would love to hear...

We went there in February, they mainly made changes to the building not the menu. If you remember there was a verandah that went all of the way around the building, it is now much shorter, they have enclosed part of it, to have more tables. It is very well done. They have also repainted the inside, it is white and a very pale green, very pretty. They also replaced the glass, but it looks the same.
The menu was the same as always.....
I really enjoy CP, and the food was very good as always....

Breakfast Buffet no longer has Lemon Poppyseed Cake!!! Chef took it off the menu!! SO SAD! It was my Favorite thing for BReakfast! Joan

I don't know if this is the best forum to ask but I will anyway.
Please tell me what is the difference between Cristal Palace and Cindrella's Rolay Table? They are both at the Cindrella's Palace, right? Is it as hard to get PS for CP as is for CRT? Where the food is better? I want to make PS for a good character lunch and which would be better for small kids (4 & 2.5)? Thanks for your help!

Crystal Palace and CRT are two different restaurants. CRT is in Cindy's Castle, while CP is off to the left at the end of Main Street, before you get to the Castle. It's easier to get PS for CP than for CRT, for breakfast. CRT also has lunch and dinner, but they aren't character meals -- I think it's fairly easy to get PS for them, though. CP also has a character lunch and dinner, I believe. (So if you want to do a character LUNCH, CP is your only option in MK.)

Someone else will have to answer about where the food is better, as I haven't been to CP before. I found the food at Cindy's breakfast to be very good, but I've seen mixed reviews.

No, they are two seperate restaurants. The Crystal Palace serves B,L,D,with the characters from POOH! It is always a buffet. Great for kids because food is ready as soon as you sit down and they have a special low buffet where kids can get there own food, We ALWAYS do breakfast here at about 10am and it serves as a Brunch for my family and then we do a dinner meal.(with snacks in between of courseIT is not that difficult to get PS for the Crystal Palace. Cinderellas Royal Table is the Breakfast that it is hard to get PS for,this is a Pre-Plated meal and the Princes are the characters.(I have never done this,but if you search on the Boards there is lots of info on it!!) Lunch and Dinner are both served in the Castle with a menu(lunch is very good!) but no characters,except Cinderella may be in the lobby?? If you have any more ???'s just ask!!
