So what is a CRT dinner *really* like?

I just got dinner ADR's for Cinderella's Royal Table for our trip. It'll be myself and DH (the anniversary couple), my MIL, and my DD who will be 14months.
I'm OK with it not being lunch, and I'm OK with not having a slew of Princesses around... but a lot of people make it sound boring and not at all worth it. I just want to eat in the castle! Anything else is a plus.

I want to try to suprise DH with something cool, like a dessert or something, since it'll be our anniversary.

So.. what's it really like? :confused3

It's really nice there. Food is good . Nice atmosphere. We got glasses for our Anninversary:cool1: from there so make sure they know it's your Anninversary. I think you will like it. It's a must do at least once.
Happy Anninversary! :thumbsup2

know if it's boring. The meal could be quite good. It's that so many people expect there to be characters and dinner doesn't have any.

I didn't realize until last year that characters didn't have the princesses up stairs. We generally do our bigger meal in the evening after swimming and freshening up at the hotel. We originally were going to get ADRs for dinner, but the CM explained the different set up. My daughter was four last year and the princesses were a very big thing for her. So we did lunch instead.

Thanks!!
All I know is that I'm very excited about it... Disney really brings out the kid in me!
I will definitely let them know it's our Anniversary. I am pretty sure I mentioned it when I made the ADR, but heck, I'm going to call back. I'd love to order the chocolate slipper, how neat that is!
At the very least, the menu sounds delicious!

That's about what I figured, it's a 'must do', at lease once!

I'd say I want the Princesses there for DD:cutie: , but she's only little, and I don't think she'd fully get what was going on. She's just as happy when waitresses or other guests talk to her, lol!

Thanks!!!:flower3:

We did dinner last year for DD's 5th B-Day. She loved it. Fairy Godmother sang and came around.

We are going for the 1st time, in October and I was really happy to get dinner reservations. My youngest DD is 7 and in love with Cinderella. I was under the impression that she could meet Cinderella before-hand. Does anyone know if that is correct? :confused3

Thanks

Maggie
