"So what if we just almost got attacked by ducks?! It was fun!" **UPDATE!!!**

Hey, Everybody! We literally just got back for Disney World like 2 hours ago, but too excited to wait! We truly had the time of our lives, even thought there were a few ups and downs (like ducks nearly attacking us, but more on that later). Is everyone ready? Pull on the yellow strap on your seatbelt to make sure it's secure. And here we gooooooooo!!!

WHO:

Me(The one on the left hugging Pooh)- Hi, I'm Sarah. Softball Player and lover of all things Disney! I'm the one in the house who knows the most about Disney. My favorite rides are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Test Track.
DS21(The one in the middle)- My Sister, Lauren. She loves Disney too, but not nearly as much as me. Her favorite ride is Splash Mountain.
DB19- My brother, Chris. Likes Disney when we go but would not read trip reports or anything like that. His favorite ride is Star Tours.

DM- My Mom. She's the one who got me into the DIS Boards. Her favorite rides are Pirates Of the Carribean, The Great Movie Ride, Dinosaur, and Maelstrom.
DD-My Dad. He likes Disney, but not nearly as much as me. His favorite ride is Spaceship Earth.
Now that we've all met, let's move on to the where!

What: Arriving at Disney!!
When: Friday, August 6th, 2010 Day 1

We got up bright and early on Friday. We were all tired but we couldn't go back to sleepbecause today was Disney day! I got up and got ready by then it was about 5:00 and the car service guy was coming at 5:15 scared1 to take us to the airport.

When the driver came THIS is what he was driving!

In case you can't see that's a LIMO!!
You might call us Disney snobs we take limos to the airport, we only like to stay in deluxe hotels,. No really, the only reason we were taking a limo to the airport was because to car service place only has a car( that can fit 3 people plus someone in the front seat, and a limo that can probably fit about 6 or 7 people.

We arrived at the airport and got on the quite long line to check our bags. By then it was about 6:15. We went in and continued to security. while we were waiting in line some lady who just got in line had this sneaky look on her face. Then she went under the rope and went behind us.. She just cutted like 10 families! No one else really seemed to notice. We were let through and the lady went up. When I looked back all these workers were talking to her and she was crying . Throughout the week someone would say : "I wonder what ever happened to the lady in the yellow shirt? . I don't know what time it was now but in about 15 minutes we started boarding. Flight went smoothly and rather quickly. before we knew it we were landing in ORLANDO!! Now all we had to do was find our way to ME.

Day 1 Part 2 August 6, 2010

We smoothly made our way off the plane.

I took this picture as we got off the plane.
Now we had to try and find magical express. We knew it was downstairs so that's were we went. Well, we saw every car and bus company except for ME!! We asked a worker and he said we were on side a and ME was on side b (or vice versa). We got there and guess what- there was no line at ME! And as soon as we got in line a bus arrived. We were excited when they announced that the Poly was first!

Within ten minutes we arrived at our hotel. And boy, it was beautiful! We never stayed or even been there before so it was all new to us.

We received many alohas and our leis and proceeded in.

There was no line at check in! And we were told that our room was ready! How perfect! our luck was getting better and better! Then we were shown to our room. He gave us a little tour of the area around us. That was pretty cool.

We had requested the club level thing( I think it was callled the king kameha club or something like that.) So we had the Hawaii building. It was was in a great location. It was close to both pools and the great Ceremonial House. I think our room number was 2528. It was on the middle floor and had no balcony . It had this wood thing that was good for hanging towels but you couldn't sit out on it or anything. I can't find the picture of the veiw but I'll post it as soon as I do. As soon as we got settled in our room our first mission was to find us some food. so we went to Captn Cooks for lunch. But that's in the next chapter. By the way, YOU LURKERS I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE!

I last left you off when we were leaving to go to Captn' Cooks for lunch. DM wasn't feeling well (she was kinda sick the whole week but she got to the parks eventually) so we were just gonna bring something back for her. Let me just say, it was about 1:30 and captn cooks was PACKED. We finally found a seat. I think I had a turkey sandwich or something along those lines. I instantly feel in love with the Polynesian chips. They were sooo good! We headed back. Then we just hung out in the room cause we weren't ready to go to MK yet. My Dad and I were kinda itching to get out of the room so we went for a walk. We walked around the beach and then decided to walk to the GF

We got to the GF and took a seat in the little courtyard thingy with all the tables by the beach.

I don't know if they were doing some kind of construction or something, cause it looks like they were. We talked about this week and how awesome it was gonna be. We decided to take a spin on the monorail to get back to the Poly. So we went through the lobby and it was beautiful, but I liked Poly's better. I was excited about going through the contemporary cause I always thought it was so cool. It's my new dream resort

Its so cool. And also we were in a car with this family of four that just kept talking and talking. The dad was trying to guess how many days they've been there by how tired they looked. But remember them. Cause they'll come in handy later. so we arrived back and we finally get to MK! Its been six months since our trip and I finally get to the first park update!

ehhh, it wasn't that bad. some days it was so hot it felt good. but sunday by far the worst. it down poured and we got DRENCHED. glad you enjoy the pics

Sometimes, rain is good beause it can make some of the crowds leave! If it is just a drizzle I can stand it, but when it downpours, I just can't handle it. Whenever I go to DHS, it always seems to rain!
