Well, our 45 days was July 11th and I wasn't going to have the payment until Friday the 14th. So I called and asked if I could get an extension. They said they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't cance. She said they would send out a notice saying the payment is past due. So, I made the payment on Friday and yesterday I received the notice (must have been generated before I paid) that my payment was past due and at 30 days prior, the reservation would automatically cancel. So, hopefully, your friend will have until the 30-day mark also.
