So what do you want for Christmas?

Are their any respite services in your area? I am sure you've looked into it. I know how stressful caregiving can be. And then you feel guilty because you love them. Don't feel bad, needing a break is totally understandable. Just a hug in recognition for what you do.

Pigletto, thank you for your response. There's no respite care that I would trust here in Memphis.

But keeping the topic on track...the number 1 materialistic thing on my list is a new set of towels and a paint job for the bathroom to go with the new towels! :thumbsup2

I want new slippers and I always get a new pair of pjs and usually some earrings, I know dh got both of those already.

In terms of dreaming, the new brown disney dooney that doesn't look disney right away. I really, really need a new camera but that will probably wait until next year.

The Perfect Tortilla maker. And missing seasons of Castle.

A LeCruset dutch oven and some more DVC points :)

But I'm sure I will be getting a personal trainer... which I need more than any of the above :)

A Disney Dooney Champsac- But I know I won't get it :). Maybe for my January bday?! Also want a waffle maker, some bath and Body Works lotion and bubble bath, and a mommy disc necklace with my girls' names and birthstones

Two new beads with the initial of the first name of each of my children for my pandora bracelet and a pair of moccasin slippers.

Bath and Body Works has their Buy 3 Get 3 Free promotion going on right now, plus there is a $10 coupon floating around if you can get your hands on one.

Yesterday, I got six full size bottles of lotion/shower gel and 3 mini bottles for $30. :)

I would love an iPad2 but it's not going to happen. Not in the budget. Hopefully my bonus from work in March will buy me one if nothing else unexpected happens that robs me of my fun money.
On the bright side I'm getting two Vera Bradley bags I've had my eye on.

i retract whatever i said i wanted for myself before. all i want is for my DH to tell me what HE wants for Christmas. he's being VERY stubborn and won't tell me anything; and, honestly, i don't need the stress right now. my family is on my back, i've got to do 3 weeks worth of work in 1 week, and i'm teaching our DD15 how to drive. i just can't deal with this garbage. i'm tempted just to throw the money at him and be done with it.

I'd love to have just one day off from taking care of my DD, who has a brain injury from a car accident, and my elderly DMIL. I love them both with all my heart, but would love to take a day for myself.

:grouphug: I see you have looked into respite and didn't find any you would trust. I wonder if it is possible to find your own provider and then get reimbursed. Do you have an advocate or anyone that helps you to get services?

For me, I'm not really asking for anything this year. DD needs braces and I'm having sticker shock. No insurance for orthodontia right now. Hope that will change in the near future though.

I don't really have any!
The only things I am wishing for lately can't fit under a tree..lol
I'd like to move, somewhere warmer! I'd like to get back to the gym and back in shape, and of course, more trips to Disney! (but we are going in January already!)
I just don't need any new things, though!

I'm very blessed, so I am really grateful to be able to give my kids a wonderful christmas this year...and i always feel a little silly asking for something for myself considering I don't NEED anything, but I scrapbook and my photo printer broke, so I am hoping Santa brings me a new one.

Merry Christmas to all :santa:

Bluetooth headphones because the cord keeps getting in the way when I am lifting weights.

A wide angle lens. We are living overseas and I think that the touring that we do almost requires a wide angle lens. :goodvibes

I asked my mom for a new dvd player since mine broke and Bruno Mars' new cd.

From other family when they ask I suggest giftcards for clothes. Since November of 2010 I have lost 88 pounds (15 of that in the last 4 months) and I need some new clothes for work and play.
