put a little Disney Magic in your day? I have a few Disney things in my office and always have on my Walt and Mickey watch. I bet a day does not go by someone walks by and strikes up a Disney conversation. How about you?

Okay here we go but every time I post this stuff I get hate mail and death threats.

First let us say that I am so spoiled living here. I have resources available to me and I use them at every turn, and so would you and do others that live here so with that said.

To get into the Disney Magic I go to the Contemporary go up to the 15th floor observation deck and watch the sun go down behind the Castle at sunset around 7:00pm

That or I ride around in the monorail a few times. We I want some exercise I grab the grandkids and we power walk Epcot around the worlds a few times does it for me.

Sometimes I just go and hang out in Down town Disney, walk around go in a few stores and look around.

I walk up and down Main Street and listen to the music. A few rare time I walked in the park in the wee early morning and watched the park come to life Awesome is the word I would use to describe this.

Some times when I have some homework to do I go to the Grand Floridian and sit in the lobby and listen to big band music from the balcony orchestra.

Wait it gets better on hot days we just go to the resorts and hit the pools nobody ever asks us who or why we there or we hit Typhoon Lagoon another awesome place plenty to do and plenty to see.

Late night and you want to people watch Pleasure Island it is. You have comedy act adventurers club you name it.

And the best part is it’s all free once you get an annual pass that is. So $340 a year, and you own the place.

When you’re a Disney fanatic like me it pays for itself in the first month. Now the resorts and DTD are free no pass needed.

Now just imagine you work till 5:00pm you just need to unwind a bit, so you call the wife and tell her to meet you at the Polynesian resort. She throws some sandwiches from the local 7 eleven and some sodas in a bag you go down to the poly sit on the sand beach and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom under a star filled night then you go home the perfect end to a perfect day.

That’s how I put a little Disney magic into my day.

Okay send your hate and flame mail now, come on don’t hate me cause I live 15 minutes from the darn place. I didn’t tell you all to live in Kansas, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Or Virginia. I’m always asking everybody to come down to the promise land there is plenty of room here.

ED,
I don't like you. Just remember that, someone who lives 1200 miles away is very jealous and doesn't like you. Rub it in why don't you.

I also have a Mickey watch, and I wear something with Mickey on it every day. On days when I am more "formal" and have to play dress up my Mickey attire might just be the watch and earrings.
I drive everywhere in my red Mickey Mobile. My kids say it is a reject from the MIckey parade. Between the dangles, the stuffed animals, the stickers and window clings etc, my car is well decorated.
We all might not be as lucky as Ed is and able to put a little WDW in our day, but I make sure I always have a little Mickey in my day. Peggie

I go to work where I have to deal with a Mickey Mouse network then just to annoy people in traffic, I will put the top down on my Camaro and crank up the theme to It's a Small World or the Electric Light Parade. So me and pretty much anyone within a 1/2 mile radius has to listen to these two songs over and over.

On an unrelated note, has anyone noticed that the amount of road rage seems to be climbing?

Jeff

I have a giant Winnie the Pooh cardboard cutout hanging onto a balloon floating up the wall of my kitchen.

And, of course, I read the DIS boards :)

Julie

We all start our mornings with Mickey because we have a Mickey waterproof clock hanging in both our upstairs bathrooms. :p

DH has a Mickey watch, so I know he always has the magic with him.

I have a "bouquet" of Mickey-head pencils on my desk at work, to keep me going.

DS#1 and DS#2 have Goofy and Donald pens with them most of the time.

Also, I know DS#2 has a Donald t-shirt on, nearly every day, under his school shirt.

It isn't enough...but we do what we can to make it from trip to trip. :D

I respond to the question "What position would you like next" question in my career planning and assessment form that I would like to be a cast member at Disney. That was magical:-)

And, I wear a string lanyard with Psychedelic Mickey to hold my badge.

Darlene

wow Darlene, I thought I was bad. :)

I have a postcard from Mickey on my desk at work. I also have my College of Disney Knowledge graduation cap on top of my computer.

When I come home, I look at my pins sitting on my desk.

And of course, the bestest of all, THE DIS! It's my disney fix when I'm away from my happy place.

Oh and good news, DH just announced we will be moving in April to WDW. Yes, Mickey told us, he has a place that's just big enough for us and is willing to hold it till then.

So watch out Ed, Lady Tay and DH are movin in!

WOO HOO
