This just made me think of a totally irrational annoyance I had at Disney once. It was at H&V last August and there was a family/party of 10 sitting at a table close to us and everyone was totally decked out in KU gear. I was soooo annoyed by them and their stupid Jayhawks stuff. I don't know why! It isn't like I hate the Jayhawks any more than the next Iowa State grad.

I find that stuff like that also augments other annoyances. Cut me off while driving? You're a bad person. Cut me off while driving and bearing a Packers magnet on your car? You are a monster. I also then silently declare such actions to be "typical" of Packers fans

(in reality, I'm probably just jealous, since my team - Minnesota - hasn't been to the Super Bowl since I was a baby)

Cast members no in character...a for instance on this one: We were at DHS on Monday and DS13 and I were taking our second tun on TOT. The two cast members in the lobby were talking about a car wreck he had. Bellhops didn't have cars in the 20s!

I started reading this thread and wondered when this would show up! I hate when that happens but, I think the people that do it hate it even more than I do after I have passed them. I always "accidently" step on their feet, which gives me great pleasure.

It appalls me that you think passively aggressively causing someone physical harm on purpose is an acceptable answer to someone doing something you find annoying. I certainly think less, much less of a horrendous, mean and terribly mannered person like you than someone else just trying to get the most out of their experience. That is just sick and I will not be surprised when one day someone slaps you silly for doing stepping on their feet on purpose. Great manners to teach your kids too. And you seem happily justified with it, just wow. That is just really disgusting to me. Please look at your behavior before judging others because you have a lot of room for improvement.

Just for perspective, I would be willing to guarantee every person has done almost every one of the things they so much hate and complain about in this thread, but THEY I am sure have an excuse, like someone pretending they are just filling in space to get to the door first to rush to the ride after the pre show... yeah, keep pretending that is really what you are doing, but we all know the truth. Don't like the clothes someone wears (not shallow or judgmental at all), or BO (really it is 100 degree Florida heat, those things will happen). Getting mad that people don't eat fast enough for you to have a seat, or get a seat on the bus??? That is your own fault for choosing a time to leave or eat when it is seriously crowded. Want a seat, go during off peak times, seats will be readily available then, don't want to make that choice, don't complain, I am paying just as much to have a vacation too and I shouldn't have to cater to your wants. Then getting mad that someone can't get a name right is so unbelievable petty it boggles my mind.

Sure there are some things that bug me, but rarely do I blame people for doing things they probably don't even know is a problem to me. I was taught to look at myself first, and if something bothers me, remember I am in no way perfect and need to just let it go. If people doing, what is seemingly anything from reading this thread, bothers you, maybe going some place filled with them is not the best choice of a vacation for you.

Pet Peeves - NUMBER ONE - people who stop in the middle of a walkway. Holding tables before you have your food at CS restaurants. Putting a child on your shoulders for a parade or fireworks - especially if right when the show starts and now I can't move so I can see.

Things I don't mind - flash photography on dark rides, people who arrive late to parades/fireworks, people who happen to be lucky and get the short side of a CS food line, people who rush out of a "queue room" at the beginning of a ride queue, large strollers in stores, people yelling at their kids, standing on the bus, selfies, holding a spot for more family members in line. These are all part of Disney and don't really have an impact on MY experience.

I am dismayed by the proliferation of strollers for older children and scooters. Yes, there are some legitimate reasons for these in SOME cases. A lot, but not all, of this proliferation has come from children not getting the exercise they used to and adults either not getting exercise or being overweight. It's a sign of our society - we aren't as fit as we used to be - at all ages - and that's just sad. Yes - some of its because we as society also now recognize and accept more individuals with disabilities - and that's good. But - a significant portion of the proliferation is because of limitations developed because we don't get enough exercise.

If everybody just sat down when they had their food, nobody would have to be trolling for tables with a loaded tray.

This one never bothered me because well....our group sits at a table while one person orders. Then again, we don't eat at the rush hour times so there are usually plenty of tables.

But you know, if everyone who came in, sat the rest of their party at a table before they ordered, nobody would be looking for a table after they got their food. Just a suggestion that we start a new trend.

Ok, I would like to know what may bother you that probably doesn't bother anyone else. Conversely, I would like to know what may irk others, but you are generally OK with at WDW.

For instance, what would probably irk only me is when people are in line and they are not paying attention when the line moves. Listen, it can move a foot and I'm secretly boiling over because the people are so engaged in their conversation that they aren't paying attention to the line! Now I don't say anything because it's really petty and silly, but that's just a weird pet peeve.

Oh, and another pet peeve is when people are at WDW and they are running with their small kids across the park to make some fastpass somewhere. Especially when you can clearly see the angst in the kids' faces and the adults are yelling at them to hurry up! I want to step in and tell them to chill so bad. And introduce them to this cool WDW app that allows you to change FPs on the fly!

However, I see people get upset and complain about "bad" service in restaurants. Like food taking a long time or servers getting your order wrong. But that never bothers me. I'm a waiter's dream because I will tip you well even if you give me bad service.

So- what bothers you that doesn't bother others? And what may irk others that you are perfectly OK with?

Pet peeves (like you, I don't really say anything to anyone about these):

• I'm with you on the not paying attention in line thing--I think the interactive elements they've added to some queues makes this even more of a problem
• people who don't move all the way to the end of the row in auditorium attractions
• people who keep their obviously over-tired kids out way too late
• people that don't queue at bus stops

Things that don't bother me that seem to bother others:

• waiting in line for over 30 minutes
• having to plan my day around FPs and ADRs
• restaurants that don't cater to everyone's individual tastes (I'm not talking about dietary restrictions, I'm talking about preferences)
• lots of walking
• not getting room requests

I guess the videotaping of rides and shows bothers me more than other people. I understand wanting to film your own family doing stuff. But there are already a million ride videos on You Tube and there are You Tube videos of every show. Why does everyone need to film their own? Maybe just be in the moment and enjoy the experience?

we're Northern, so if we're sitting on the bus and a lady is standing, my hubby would offer his seat. but now he has numerous disabilites and cannot (even though you can't see them) there are as many polite people in the north as in the south.

I have to disagree. While there are both polite and impolite people everywhere, in general Southerners are more polite than Northerners. I've lived in several places in the Northeast, New England, South, Midwest, West Coast, etc. (I'm originally from the very far North).

I currently live in the North (WNY), and despite being obviously pregnant and often carrying a toddler or pushing a stroller, I rarely have doors held for me. The very first day we were here, DH walked through a door that someone was holding open and the man actually said, "I wasn't holding that for you." We were shocked, having just moved from the South. Conversely, in the South I rarely DON'T have doors held, no matter what my state or who I am with. When I lived in Boston, a pregnant friend actually passed out on a mostly-full bus (she hit the floor since she was standing) and not a single person stopped to help her.

This bothers me on a lot of different levels. You really think that an"significant" portion of people are using scooters and strollers just because they are overweight and out of shape? I'm not trying to single you out, as others have voiced the same grievance, but trust me, nobody wants my party of 6, sometimes 7, with three 250+lb adults, two children, and trays of food all trying to move as a cohesive unit through the tightly packed tables at CS. No good thing would come of this. With a party that big, we usually finally find a table and round up enough chairs just in time for the trays to arrive.

On the rare occassion our party is small, we get our food and then look for a table.

They are comfortable and since they are black/grey, they match any tops I bring (except for nice ones), and they aren't ridiculously hot in the Florida heat. BUT I do make sure they are not see through (Victoria must have her Secret kept, lol!)... they have to pass a series of tests before I wear them in public!

It just shows a lack of understanding as to the purpose and function of lightening rods. You can be struck by lightening just as easily standing next to a building with a lightening rod as next to one without.

As for people referring to Magic Kingdom as Disney, I hear it all the time from people living in Orlando. lol!

Yeah...My husband is a Vikings fan and I root for the Pack. And yes, believe it or not, we did know this about each other when we married. It's really interesting on games days.

I hope you're kidding. If not, then consider:

I'm raising my kids to push to the front of every line if they don't wait. If others want to get there first, they should have gotten there sooner.

I'm raising my kids to take flash pictures in all the dark rides. If others want to experience the atmosphere of the attractions the way it was intended, they can ride again when we're not on it.

I put my kids, and my wife on my shoulders during parades and fireworks. If you want to see, you can find someplace where we aren't blocking your view.

I'm raising my kids to take the food from others tables. Why should we have to pay when others have bought the food for us?

I am not kidding even the tiniest bit. And it is mind boggling to me that you think allowing my tired children to 1) wait in line for a seat, and then 2) sit in that seat is comparable to any of those weird examples you gave.

But I am raising my kids in 2015 in the USA, not in some past time where women were considered "the weaker sex" or in some weird fantasyland where waiting for a seat and then - gasp - using it is the same thing as stealing food from people.

1. People who think they need to stand on my heels in line or whacking me in the back with their backpack every time they turn around because they are too close.
2. Ruining an attraction for someone else who may not have experienced it before. The first time we went to MK, my daughter was five and wanted to see Country Bears. A group of people behind us kept doing a loud single clap every 2-3 minutes. They thought they were being funny. I get it, its corny, but we like it. We had to sit through it again so she could hear it. My kids still talk about that 7 years later.
3. Someone shoving in front of my child at parade, stage show, fireworks, etc. making it impossible for him/her to see. If you want front row get there before the front row is full.
4. Forcing a child onto a ride they don't want to go on so the child and everyone else on the ride is miserable.
5. And I agree with the whole sense of entitlement, not having to follow rules attitude. I always teach my children that their rights end where someone elses begins and rules are there for the enjoyment and safety of all and we will follow them or not go.

Now, I will say the first time we went to the MK we probably did stop a few times without thinking, but it was the excitement and not knowing the layout and we really did not intentionally try to irritate anyone. However, we learned quickly to move to the side before we would stop.
